It kind of makes you wonder why the Pats don't do that more, especially when they're up and/or driving deep. I still remember the 3rd and 1 call against the Panthers. Had the Pats run the ball on that play and gotten the 1st down, that PI at the end would have been a moot point.
I don’t love Blount but it was a terrific trade. To add a player like Blount who can contribute as much as he has this season for Demps and a 7th is masterful.
Offensive line has played masterful today. Ryan Wendell has had an amazing game today, by far his best game of the year. Ngata, Jones, Cody and Canty have all been non-factors.
