Something about the way Jones was "flinging his body around" at the point of attack.

There as that but on at least two occasions he talked about Nink's and Jones crashing down to help out in the run game.

I'm certainly not going to give up on Nate Solder at this point in his young career, and especially not after the season he had in 2012. However, he has been the ultimate underachiever this season. He hasn't done much good for a majority of the season. He's just been far too inconsistent this season.

With all that said, I think it's unfair to pile up on him. The whole line has been having issues all season. Connolly was late pulling on a few plays. Svitek was getting pushed back into the pocket on most of the passing plays. Mankins is overpaid. And, with great sadness, I think Wendell will only get marginally better. I don't view him as a long-term answer at the C position.

Wendell and Connolly both had miserable first halves last night before they pulled it together. That's been an alarming trend this season. When the OL plays poorly, it's usually those two as the main culprits.

so did anyone see if there was any post-game commentary by rodney "benedict arnold" harrison?

It Is What It Is » Rob Ninkovich on M&M: Bill Belichick?s decision to take wind over ball to start OT showed confidence in defense

Ninkovich was called for a questionable pass interference penalty during Denver’s fourth-quarter drive that led to the game-tying touchdown. On third-and-seven, Ninkovich was called for interfering with Jacob Tamme. The Broncos scored a touchdown on the next play.

“I was really surprised, because I was playing through the guy with my opposite hand to the ball,” Ninkovich said. “I was pushing through to the ball and I dove to get to the ball and the ball was thrown outside. And it almost was uncatchable, because I was right there. I didn’t feel like I tackled or grabbed the guy. I think he did a pretty good job of acting. As I tried to get to the ball, he kind of fell down.

“Again, it’s one of those things that I don’t have too many of those flags thrown on me. So, again, at the time it’s disappointing to have a good third-down stop giving them another chance to score and tie the game up.”

What did I miss regarding Harrison? Why did you call him a Benedict Arnold?

So Collins played 22 snaps and made 10 tackles? Pretty good efficiency there. I was just re-watching some of the game and he was all over the place. Wonder how much he will be on the field in the future games.
When you are a LB and you are making a lot of tackles when the RB averages 6 yards per carry, thats not something to brag about.
In this case however, we were literally begging them to run, so its hard to be critical.

Absolutely. Slater was awesome. Also, yeah, D deserves plenty of credit (despite the now familiar late drive). Certainly can't put the first 17 points on them, and they clamped down on this high-powered offense in teh second half and OT.

Also, just saw this:

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 44m
Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno was spotted on crutches, in walking boot, after Denver's OT loss. Hurt foot in OT.

And still came back in and fell down on his one carry. But well over 30 carries in that cold, gets hurt, and then still mans up and comes back in. Props to him.

He's not only saying glowing things about the Pats and is doing what he's paid to do, which is have an opinion.

he seems to throw in a few digs at the pats. also earlier in the season he said manning was the better qb (something like the more dangerous qb)

. @jeffphowe: Another observation: Arrington played almost exclusively on Welker but didn't allow any catches in straight man coverage.

. @jeffphowe: Of Welker's 4 catches, Arrington passed him into a zone 3 times (Hightower, Collins, Spikes) and another was on Ryan man coverage.

Arrington vs. Cruz/Welker, all pro coverage.

Arrington vs. Ted Ginn/any outside WR/fans in the stadium, awful coverage.

The best niche corner in the league! :D Now keep him in that niche permanently since we have Ryan if Talib/Dennard go down on the outside.

It's all a question of earning BB's trust. I don't doubt that once Ryan reassures BB that he won't mess up the scheme that he'll be promoted to prime backup outside corner.

Arrington is an absolute beast in the slot. His effectiveness is dramatically lower on the outside. If our CBs are healthy enough that he can stay inside in the playoffs, I really like our chances.

Other that Ginn's TD, Arrington gave up 1 catch for -1 yard against the Panthers. Not remotely awful.

Hyperbole? Perhaps.
