I think the OP was referring to the announcements that get made during the game, like, "Marcus Cannon has a leg injury and is questionable to return"

Rotated him out for KT. They switched game plans. KT is a quicker, more agile short yard runner. AD is the typical X deep man. We were never gonna try any deep shots with that protection we had. Had to be quick or play action. So we start to see KT and AD's roles now.

I'm not sure why KT has seen a reduced role. Dude is so quick off the LOS and it seems like he constantly gets seperation.

It's clearly not ability related. He was in the doghouse for some reason.

That's why KT was in last night after we fell behind. That's what we needed. Dobson can do the same things, but KT is better at the role he played last night than Dobson. Dobson is being molded into that deep x receiver that we need.

We are very lucky to have these 2 rookies playing for us. They don't ever give up and want the best for the team.

Its gameplan.. First, its likely only one rookie at a time and two they weren't going to throw deep in the cold weather with that much wind, meanwhile a guy like KT who is so quick and explosive in the short to midrange is going to be a better fit than AD.

I very much doubt either AD or KT were ever in the doghouse, given that they are both stellar rookies who have performed far better than most at this stage in their careers.

KT might have been a bit banged up a few weeks ago, but I haven't seen any injury report on AD.

I like what they are doing with these rookies. Heavy load early out of necessity and now backing off as they probably would have done if Amendola, Gronk and Vereen hadn't missed so much time.

They have enough experience to be the go-to guys against the Bills at the end of the season when Edelman, Amendola and Gronkowski might see their snaps reduced or sit out, especially if they Patriots clinch a bye in week 16 which is a reasonable possibility.

The Broncos or the Chiefs will have another loss after next weekend, so the Pats should be tied for the bye, unless they completely choke against the disintegrating Texans.

Gotta root for the Chiefs to knock off the Broncos to hand them a third loss and dump them into the wild card while giving the Patriots the head-to-head tie breaker.

If the Pats take care of business against the Texans, Browns and Dolphins the next three weeks, they clinch the AFC East, and can clinch a bye the following week with a little help.

It's good to see that KT can hold his own in this type of weather. Games are gonna be like this here on out and should we get to NJ for Superbowl in Feb with who knows what kind of weather it'll be, nice to know he can be counted on.
