Our biggest Ally.... The Wind! And it has arrived just in time.

All this may be true but everyone seems to make out denver to be some chump team which will fold in the winds. We have the banged up defense. Our offnese is just coming together. Big advantage that we are at home . Sure, I will agree denver has not played well in the past few weeks since the jags game but how consistent have the pats been ?.Inspite of the calls not going our way we have been in a dogfight everytime almost. We put up only 20pts vs CAR inspite of moving the up and down the field due to our own mistakes Its a young team which is still learning the ropes so what is to say they wont be inconsistent again. If this was last yr's offense, I would give us the edge.
I hope you all are right but Iam not ready to dismiss denver the football team .I hate that team and also think they are a tad overrated but that offensive scheme and execution is very good. Just my opinion.

The offense say week scored 20 points in 6 drives and should gave been 1st and goal in the 7rh. You call that shooting themselves in the foot but the Denver offense you are beaming about has scored fewer points per drive than that

He'll be wearing thermal underwear.

He'll be wearing that scuba outfit, I just hope we don't see Manning do the same thing. I had the notion that Welker may have given him that tip. We'll see.

First, I never said the Broncos are a chump team. I wouldn't be surprised if they came in here and won and even won big tonight. I am just not afraid of them like a lot of people are and I am not in awe of their offense that started out otherworldly, but has come down to a very good offense now.

Second, the Pats' offense has only beaten themselves for the most part since the second half of the Miami game. Yes, the Pats only scored 20 vs. the Panthers, but it was mostly because of the Pats shooting themselves in the foot against one of the best defenses in football than the Panthers stopping them.

thats my pt abt the panthers game . They moved the ball all over but still made critical mistakes. Thats my point about inconsistency.Team is quite young .So to rely on them to play mistake free football is not easy ,not to mention on a short week coming of a MNF game. Not to mention our most reliable unit on the field -the oline has crapped the bed on critical occasions.
I also dont think broncos are like 2007 pats or even some of the other colts teams but in today's matchup they are the better team due to our depleted defense and offense being raw and just finding its groove.

So we are saying we are the better offense than denver right now ?I hope you are right. In my opinion we are not there yet.

Well, young inexperienced players like Mankins will just have to learn on the fly. If he was a seasoned vet, I am sure he wouldn't have gotten that personal foul.

Sorry, it was just a game where things didn't go the Pats' way. They have them every year. It had nothing to do with youth and inexperience. It was just one of those games. I am not expecting a lot of what happened on Monday night to be a trend.

The Broncos are also coming off a very physical Sunday night game against a division opponent who they are battling for the division and HFA and coming across country to play in harsh weather conditions which they are not accustom to (the cold in Colorado is nothing like here). Plus, they have to turn around after tonight and prepare to go back to KC to play that team again which the game could be for the division and HFA. Both teams tonight have a lot to overcome. The Broncos are just as likely for a letdown.

No offense, but you have seemed to resigned yourself to the Pats losing tonight and refuse to accept any reasoning why you may be wrong.

Right at this point in time, you can make the argument the Pats have the better offense. You can obviously argue the other way. But the perception of the Broncos' offense is clouded by their incredible start and not looking how they have been far more inconsistent since that start.

Sounds like no spikes. Denver will be running. This one will hurt. They need us to suit up soon

Well hope for a little snow and that the wind is swerling

Jeez, someone has no sense of humor. It was a joke.

Sorry, it's not you specifically. But when that pic came out he took a lot of flack for it and I thought it was ridiculous.

I'm the biggest Brady homer there is but I've noticed he has struggled in cold weather games the last few years, even without wind.

He's probably like all us folk 35-45. Cold starts becoming more annoying the older you get. At one point in your life, you shrug it off, but as the years go by, it's a PITA.

By that logic you would think Manning would be out of the game by the first quarter

Ty law did that in a playoff game of a championship season.

The closer this one gets, the edgier I am getting - both good and bad. This is the first game this season where it feels like everything is on the line. Guys like Talib, Arrington, Ridley, Hightower and Jones need to rise to the occasion and show there stuff. All of them have the ability to be big game players. Here it is.

And don't forget this

It's meat cutting time

What's your criteria for determining that? For me it's W-L, and in weathers 20 degrees and below, he is undefeated, and in other cold weather games, including playoffs, he is 16-1, so that's hardly struggling.

People are lazy when it comes to Peyton's postseason. You wouldn't believe how many people I've talked to in real life say "Well Peyton is 9-11 in the playoffs/He's terrible outdoors/etc." I don't even bother bringing up his actual postseason numbers (Which are every bit as good as Brady's) because people are ignorant and don't want to hear it. I don't bring up how his defense and special teams collapsed with less than a minute left in the game when Peyton had them winning. Guy has bad luck ... This postseason I hope everyone steps up around him and plays tough.

In the weather thread from a broncos fan. Mannings post season #s are every bit as good as Bradys? Tim Brady? Tony Brady?
