Or has his production and hits taken in the 3 games so far this season mean you are past the point of worrying when he gets blindsided after catching for example.

For me slowly week by week Gronk is getting my full trust back to not have to worry about him going down. Amendola the same, although i expected him to come into his own once that unlucky string of injuries and concussion was out the way.

I give it no thought at all.

So you never think 'uh oh' at all when the free safety comes over and clocks him in the arm just as he's caught it?

That's impressive if you don't. I guess i do because he is that important to our success.

For the first game he was back, yes. Every play he was in, but now, I don't really give it a thought.

Not really . . . We have players dropping like flies this season, so I just decided I'm not going to worry about injuries anymore. They're going to happen whether I'm worrying about them or not. I just try to watch the games and hope we continue to win.

No.

But, I do start shouting "don't fumble, PLEASE DON'T FUMBLE" at the TV whenever Steven Ridley touches the ball.

Of course.

Most important player on the team besides TFB. With his injury history I always just want him to get down after he catches a pass.

Footballers play football. Hitting is a part of football. If you're on the field, you're ready to go as far as I am concerned.

No.

He played what amounted to basically his preseason and held up fairly well along putting up insane stats in a tune-up phase. This might be shocking to some, but he's actually moving better this season than he was all of last year despite the rust from the long layoff. You can already tell that he's faster and more agile. He's in line for a huge, huge second half of the season.

The way our players are dropping this year, I am concerned when anyone gets a nice crunching hit.

Gronk--not as much as the first game or two, but of course I'd be concerned if he took a nice shot to his arm. For me, that will likely continue for awhile, if not the rest of the season.

Then again, I tend to worry too much in general.

I cringe whenever I see Peyton's ugly face on my TV screen

And/or those puke colored jerseys

Gronkowski being this fragile player is overblown in my opinion, he missed time for one injury his entire NFL career and that was the arm. Other than that he has been out there taking hits like no other player in the NFL for 3+ years.

First hit he took against the Jets I cringed, and he took a hard shot to the thigh against the Steelers where I was praying to God everything was ok.

No. Gronk doesn't get injured until the playoffs are around the corner. :bricks:

ok, i kid...sorta.

Guys like those are the type that throw themselves at everything they do. I'd be surprised if they didn't get nicked up along the way. Let's just hope it's nothing serious.

You must spend a lot of time on sick call. The forehead gets a lot of face time. He's NFL royalty.

Not when he takes a hit, but every time he breaks his fall with that forearm... I know that his arm should be healed enough to take that sort of impact, and that he has a brace on it for added security, but with everything that's at stake and memories of when he rebroke it in the AFC Championship game, I still cringe a little.

Why did he have to be out there on that PAT last year...

no...if he's going to get hurt he's going to get hurt...nothing i can do

Absolutely! him and Amedola are made of glass, then again so is our defense. The injury bug hasn't been kind to us this year.

It was legitimately 3 freak occurences in a row. Breaking his arm arm as it was straight on kick ST legit just a routine play. Then 1st catch of the playoff game landing directly on the point with all of his weight (after coming back early) . Then an infection.

Gronk is Gronk and i think taking the long term approach to get it fixed was always the best option. We have him to 2018 and i'm pretty happy about that.
