I can't believe Belichick chose all these players who get hurt. He may be an OK coach but he sucks as a GM, any good GM knows you don't fill your roster with players who get hurt and can't play. Geesh.

Tavon Wilson is our #4 emergency safety who has no reps because the players in front of him are doing the job. I don't see the mystery of it all. Wilson was in danger of being cut. He made the team as a special teamer.

If your are commenting on Belichick's drafting of defensive backs, please be more direct and we can discuss McCourty, Dennard, Ryan and Harmon.

These are my thoughts after today’s game, I have some positives and negatives overall, either way though it is good to see them with a record of 6-2 with just one more game before the bye week.

1. I am glad they won the game; it was really nice to see the team bond together and pull it out.
2. Josh McDaniels should be fired; his play calling is awful and predictable. The play Brady was intercepted on could have been diagnosed by my local high school football team.
3. Ridley not being on the field is ridiculous, whatever the issues are that Josh McDaniels or Bill Belichick are having with him and attempting to punish him for need to be dealt with during the week and not on Sundays.
4. Chris Jones continues to be one of the most impressive rookies in the NFL; 7 total tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for a loss and 1 quarterback hit, he reminds me of a young Mike Wright.
5. Aaron Dobson has separated himself from the rest of the rookie wide receivers; he likely had his best day as a pro today with receptions on 4 of his 5 targets for 60 yards and a touchdown.
6. Amendola is not Wes Welker by any stretch of the imagination and continues to be the most disappointing free agent signing we have had since Thomas.
7. Chandler Jones is quickly becoming a top 10 defender in the NFL.
8. Hightower had the best statistical game of his career with 10 total tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for a loss and 1 quarterback hit; I was very happy to see him rebound after a poor game last week.
9. Logan Ryan can grab his crotch all night…
10. Should we file a missing persons report for Tavon Wilson? I have never seen a player fall off the face of the earth like him; some may say Bequette but Bequette was never on the earth. Either way are 2ND and 3RD round picks from a year ago being nonexistent this season is not acceptable.

If you disagree with my position on McDaniels that is fine, if you want to refer to it as nonsense that is unacceptable and to be completely you sound ridiculous and stubborn suggesting that what I say about McDaniels is untrue, Tom Brady had a 69.5 QB rating today and threw for 116 yards, the signing that everyone defended 2 weeks ago Danny Amendola caught just 3 of his 6 targets for 15 yards today. The team was 2-10 on third downs, held the ball for over 9 minutes less than the Dolphins, Brady was sacked 3 times, we had 19 first downs total 4 of which came from a penalty, and we didn’t have a scoring drive until Stevan Ridley saw the field with 9:55 remaining in the second quarter.

I will await your “everyday Einstein” cost vs. savings statement followed by your manipulated stats and finished off with your excuses about health, offensive line blocking, Etc. Etc. Etc. response - oh wait don’t forget the insulting or demeaning comments we can’t forget that now can we!!

Dennard, logan ryan, harmon all in the past year have helped improve our seconddary..

No I am commenting on Tavon Wilson and Jake Bequette, I don’t recall saying anything about Belichick’s drafting of defensive backs, I did say something about the drafting in the 2ND and 3RD rounds of 2012’s NFL draft, that was pretty direct but they pick numbers were #48 and #90 overall if that helps clarify what I was commenting on.

What exactly McCourty, Dennard, Ryan and Harmon have to do with anything is beyond me but you must have accidentally hit multi quote and combined my post with another post and came up with what ever your trying to discuss here, either way I am freaking clueless to what the hell you’re talking about so can you please explain.

Personally, I agree with DI's assessment.

And using Amendola's performance as support when criticizing DI is truly funny, given what he think's of us letting Welker go.

In one sense, Bill is at fault for the production of our offense. In another sense, Josh is responsible. After all, they are the bosses.

From my vantage point, the offense is pretty much where I expected it to be, other than for the lack of a 3rd down running back.
