Pats #3 on NFL.com Power Rankings

That's just stupid. The Patriots have one good win and I would be happy with them simply being in the top ten. I would rate them 2nd in their own division right now because of strength of schedule and quality of wins.

Always smart fans ??
We dont think NO is all that great either. Like most teams we have problems. Inconsistant OL, some bad SP calls trying to force the run wasting 3rd downs, and costing points/drives. Stills is still a rookie and drops good passes. Brees gave 7pts to the Bucs on a pic six. I know he completely trust the WR's , but his faith is maddening sometimes.
Nice to have Meachum back. All in All we think the boys are doing ok and thier best. Playing as a team, and having fun is so important.
Miami should tell us alot.
Id rate NE above us in overall effort, diversity, coaching, and always QB.

After all Cardinals started 4-0 last year, ended 5-11 and fired HC, Hope SP keeps his job.

What we think, lol
Week 4 Power Rankings

noooooo, wanted us to stay low for the entire season. this power ranking is a jinx magnet.

This just screams "There are no really good teams, and the Pats are usually good."

Its going to be funny watching the broncos get swept by the chiefs this season and fight for a wildcard, they are a good offense, but this is week 3 and they've played some horrid teams.

This is stupid. Until last week, all the teams the Pats defeated were undefeated except for a loss to the Patriots. The AFC East remains undefeated except in division. There is no such thing as a bad win. New England fans suck. From now until the Pats lose, every team they beat will be overrated, right?

Power Rankings sidenote: Getting a lot of feedback on New England being so high. While the Patriots don't feel like a No. 3 team, they're tied for the second-fewest points allowed in the NFL. Meanwhile, Tom Brady is still the quarterback, and there's a solid chance that the team's second-best player -- Rob Gronkowski -- comes back this week. And which team in the NFL has allowed fewer points than New England? That would be Seattle.

The Patriots are one of seven teams with a 3-0 record, though the Seahawks, Saints and Bears have an opponent's combined record of just 2-7, while the Patriots' opponents have a combined record of 3-6.

Chiefs or Broncos -- who have also played opponents with a combined 3-6 record

Of the undefeated teams, only Miami has played teams with more wins than the Patriots' opponents.

Saw this little nugget from Greg Rosenthal, in regards to Miami.

But the Dolphins have been out-gained in all three games they have played this year. The last team to do that and go on a three-game winning streak was the 2012 Arizona Cardinals during their 4-0 start.

Seattle is going to get a butt whoopin in Houston this weekend .... In fact I would say that is my top prediction this week.

Who will be number one next week?....Denver for the moment

Seems a bit high to me considering the level of team they have been playing. While the defense has been playing well I have no idea if it is because they are good or the fact they have played three teams in a row with inept offenses.

I know they are 3-0 but at th every least I still rank the Saints, Bears, Bengals and Dolphins above them at this point. I also think the Falcons are a better team even though they are 1-2

I wouldn't count on it. That Seattle defense is absolutely nasty and should be able to throw off Schaub and the Texans offense.

The only good thing about them is their d line. Average team posing as an elite one. Happens every year. When the Saints beating the living **** out of them no one will be talking about how good they are.

The Saints have as much to prove as any other team, however as a Patriots fan they do concern me because of the beating Brees put on them the last time they faced each other. That said the patriots have a number of strengths and only a few weaknesses. The strengths are the GOAT QB, their run game, which even without Vereen is excellent, their OL, and their defense as a whole, which is 2nd in points against. Their weaknesses are at WR and TE, which will end up being strengths when they get healthy. And they have a coaching advantage over pretty much every team in football, so overall I'm not worried about them, they simply need to get out of this stretch at 4-2 or 5-1, if they do they will be in good shape. If they drop the next three then the pressure will be on them big time, especially if Miami continues to play well and win, however in this seasons NFL a 10-6 team is probably going to get a WC.

I wish they would have been lower....just for ammunition's sake.

I miss the days when we hated our head coach....
