Meh. Trolling is a long standing message board tradition. Hell the biggest troll we've ever had went on to launch the ever hilarious Jets Insider board proving that a scumbag troll can gain fame and fortune in the cesspool of NY 'journalism'.

And if you've never gotten banned by JI, then you aren't living. I got into it with one of their moron moderators and got banned.

I was Director of Engineering at a small ISP at the time (a decade ago lol) and had access to tons of public IP addresses. They block by IP once you get banned so that you don't just create a new user account. So I spent the day changing my public IP and creating new user accounts to harass said moderator.

I CANNOT BE STOPPED! I AM UNBANABLE!

(In my defense he was a wicked ****). And I wasn't even trolling really just bringing a dose of reality to the world of delusional Jets fans during one of their off-season Superbowl runs.

Anyway..... that was a fun day.

What's your opinion on TGG as it compares to JI?

A few years back we actually had a higher quality of trolls. Now, they're not nearly as interesting.

My theory is that these trolls have gotten banned and/or tired of playing WoW and are migrating like a yeast infection to the football boards.

I do miss Aqua. An interesting, better quality of troll.

PatsfanTx over at JI was the Tom Brady of trolling. I agree that the troll quality has gone way down.

What's your opinion on TGG as it compares to JI?

I don't bother with either much anymore but a while ago I would have said that JI was mainly fanboys constantly getting their hopes up and then crushed.

It's hysterical to think that there used to be debates on there about Pennington versus Brady. People actually thought Pennington was better than Brady.

They had some great posters like Green Jets and Ham who reminds me of a cross between Ken and Off the Grid (think about that love child) but they were few and far between.

Then there is Ray Ray who is in a class by himself. Perhaps the most delusional person on the Interwebz and still going strong.

TGG was a bunch of mouth breathers.

Boooooooo. Trolls are good for morale. Instead we get Pats fans bashing each other over who should be the #8 OL or if we have too many linebackers and crap.

I'd much rather some Bills fan talking out of his Stevie Johnson about how the Bills have a chance in hell on Sunday.
