Does a home game on thursday night make you want to sell your tix?

Just wondering for the home opener vs jets. I already got my tix. But wondering if a lot of people will be selling tix since so late on a Thursday night. Not like a 1 pm Sunday game here

There is something very electric about the atmosphere of a night game.

Add to that it is the home opener.

Add to that there will be a half time ceremony for the new club HoF inductees.

Add to that it's against the Jets.

Sure it's late on a work night; but you only have to get through one day, Friday, before the weekend and you have two days off (at least that's the case for most fans).

If you want to make a profit and relax, sell them.

If you've already experienced many similar games, sell them.

If not, then my recommendation is that you go.

I'd get up and drive to Foxboro at 3 a.m. to see the Green Beans squashed and humiliated.

i am with you..i could just see a lot of ppl selling tix. I love fly overs for home openers...but night games it's a no go

That and rush hour traffic will make it 10x worse but oh well

I live 3 hours away, and this was the first game we circled to go to.
I will take the day off Friday and my son will be 'sick' from school. We will turn it into a 3 1/2 day weekend.

well that works fine. Wonder if more people will call in "sick" on friday..i can't

Five out of sixteen of our games will be ending after midnight. I think it blows.

Sadly this normally means I will not be staying up until 4-5am it gets harder and harder each year. I am fine with playoffs and SB but regar season games just not worth it when I have game pass.

I take your midnight and I raise you my 5am.

Blows indeed.

Even worse for me is that I work nights. Have to completely stay off Patsfans and twitter until I can get home and watch the game on Gamepass.

Thankfully I have Sunday nights off so late games then don't affect me. But Pre-season has been a real pain.

I sold those tickets. No way am I driving down to Foxboro after work and staying out till 2 am. That is a long day.

Can't do this anymore. I might watch a series or two, but checking the score first thing in the a.m. and, usually seeing that the Pats have won, makes my life easier and keeps my blood pressure lower. The NFL has figured out a way to keep fans away from their broadcasts--put 'em on way late.

As a geezer I agree with the sentiment against 2AM and worse, however I loved going to the MNF game vs the Jets 3 years ago where we won 45-3. Cold Decembah night but I never felt it. Electric atmosphere. Stayed awake the 90 minute drive home, thankfully.

us young folk can take it

I love night games... Usually Mondays are the easiest to get but Thursdays are not bad either.. If anyone is selling in the lower bowl for 9/12... I am looking lol

We have to go deeper. I see your 5am and raise you my 6am.

I try to stay up if my next day schedule allows it. But otherwise I'll look up the boxscore and rely heavily on opinions on these forums et al. To inform me about the game.

There are about 30 tickets available on ticket exchange right now for the home opener so it seems some people would rather not deal with the late night.

Damn, I was going to post mine on the ticket exchange.

I wanted to go, but I've struck out finding anyone to commit to a Thursday

night game. So, I figured I'd dump a pair (out of 4 total)

to avoid eating it. I've been to enough games anyways, so I won't be

heartbroken if I don't go.

Post them now and they should sell. Next week there will be tons on there.
Where are your seats?

They're in section 313. I just posted them, as a matter of fact.

It's my first year as an "official" season ticket holder, and the headaches

that come with the territory. In the past, I've simply cherry-picked my

friends season tickets to the tune 3-4 home games a year, plus the game

down in Miami, of course.
