The thing is can they spend yet another first round pick on a D-lineman? They already have gone three years in a row selecting d-linemen in the first round and four out of the last 5 drafts (ok, Gholston was a OLB and the Jets want Coples to be an OLB, but in the 3-4 they are really d-linemen who don't put their hands in the dirt). That is why the Jets have no safeties, no LBs, a makeshift o-line, no receivers, and no RBs.

If Clowney continues his ascension up the college football ranks for DE's, you absolutely draft him no matter the history if you get the first overall pick. Most people only know him for that hit during the Michigan game... but he was a beast well before that.

Looks like the Pats could be facing Matt Leinhart or John Beck as the Jets' starting QB for the Jets. In fact, the Pats might face both in the first two weeks of the season since both are being looked at by both the Jets and Bills.

So John Beck is left...Weren't the Dolphins fans running around in 2007 saying "Hoo boy look out for this guy, he is the future..." ...then he couldn't beat out Chad or Chad? He's got one more year of college and anything could happen, injury wise. But, if he stays healthy, he's poised to be an absolute monster in the NFL.

Clowney and Chandler Jones would make one of the fiercest pass rushing tandems in the NFL, but I'm not so sure I would give up the entire draft for him.

1. The most Clowney will fall to is pick 3. (Bridgewater and if Manziel has an undefeated, 2nd Heisman season)

2. Realistically, what's the lowest were drafting, pick 24?

The Saints traded from the 12th spot to the 5th spot for Ricky Williams. In order to do that, they traded their 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, a future 1, and a future 3.

To get from 24 to 3, we would need to trade 1-7 and like three future 1s. Screw that.

I hope the Jets draft Clowney, ensuring another season they will be without a franchise QB, and therefore, of course, suck!

It sucks to be a Jets fans. Here's why.

1) There is NO WAY that Rex Ryan is gonna let the jets lose every game like the Colts did. He is fighting for his job and his next job.

2) The Jets will be cursed enough to win at least 5 games. (bills, browns, bucs, miami, oakland)

3) Teams that I think are worse than the Jets: Oakland, Browns, Jacksonville, Cardinals and depending on the QB situation, Buffalo and Vikings.

If I had to guess, the jaguars will be picking #1
