I would.. they were a 6-8 win team at best anyway.. jadeveon is a beast.
Clowney needs to be a Patriot! He is a beast!!! Luckily about the only team that could waste his talent is the Jets!!!

I was afraid that 2012 couldn't be topped. I'm more optimistic now.
The thing is can they spend yet another first round pick on a D-lineman? They already have gone three years in a row selecting d-linemen in the first round and four out of the last 5 drafts (ok, Gholston was a OLB and the Jets want Coples to be an OLB, but in the 3-4 they are really d-linemen who don't put their hands in the dirt). That is why the Jets have no safeties, no LBs, a makeshift o-line, no receivers, and no RBs.
Pretty much. Most people will do anything to avoid a fight. I learned that from something that I cannot talk about. It's the rules.
Looks like the Pats could be facing Matt Leinhart or John Beck as the Jets' starting QB for the Jets. In fact, the Pats might face both in the first two weeks of the season since both are being looked at by both the Jets and Bills.
Jets to look at Leinart, Beck | ProFootballTalk
If you think that the only thing missing from the Jets circus is the Governor of NJ blasting a Jets writer from a radio show, your prayers have been answered: Christie says Mehta is "a complete idiot."

I would not hesitate to mortgage the farm for Clowney if I were the Patriots Head Coach, General Manager or Owner. If Clowney continues his ascension up the college football ranks for DE's, you absolutely draft him no matter the history if you get the first overall pick. Most people only know him for that hit during the Michigan game... but he was a beast well before that.

Man, this D with him playing. Instant credibility. I fear what he will become.
I want our own JJ Watt. Clowney really is a mouth watering prospect. He's got one more year of college and anything could happen, injury wise. But, if he stays healthy, he's poised to be an absolute monster in the NFL.
