Depends on how you are looking at it / what question you are asking. On the surface, my Young - Tebow analogy wasn't a presumption, rather, it was an example of a QB going to a new team and being developed, even though he had a number of years as a pro under his belt.
Presumption or pure speculation on your part. What's the difference?

Looking at how/what you quoted and what you left out, I think you might not have understood the distinction I was making.

As for the difference between presumption or speculation, I'm really not sure of the difference. There probably is one, but it seems that they are generally used interchangeably.

Stop being disingenuous, as you aren't smart enough to pull it off.

You can't point to a single person here who thinks that Tebow should be on the roster because he "deserves" a roster spot.

I can go back through your other blatherings vis a vis Tebow supporters and explain just how frakked up and intellectually dishonest those posts have been, but I'd just be repeating what I and others have already said, things that you have completely ignored.

(Ian and mods, sorry if this crosses the line, but this guy is being a total and complete dip**** and a liar to boot.)
Mods go ahead ban me!

I'm just as bad if not worse than NEM since I don't believe Tim Tebow has "earned" a roster spot!

The highly entertaining "let's argue over choice and application of words" thread degeneration was inevitable. It reminds me of a recent press conference.

Actually, no, you can't go through my posts and explain how frakked up and intellectually dishonest those posts have been, because they haven't been. You might disagree with my conclusions. You might think that some of them are wrong, and they might be. But that doesn't make them frakked up and/or intellectually dishonest.

Ironic thing is that I wouldn't have had a problem if that is all you had said

So as far as the Jets are concerned, does that PC eclipse the Buttfumble ?

To even compare Tim Tebow to Steve Young is so intellectually dishonest that you should be banned spewing such preposterous propaganda.

let me give you some advice ...you should never use the word "intellectually" ever again, ban it from your vocabulary please.

I feel like i have been in an Abbott and Costello routine with Atippett56 the last hour ...whose on first? whats on second? sheeesh...
Your whole Tebow should be on the Pats roster is an Abbott and Costello routine. Who can't throw, I don't care if he can't throw, why can't he make the roster, who else can block punt who might be able to learn to throw but he is a great guy who could lead the Patriots some day. Tebow is like Charlie Brown. A really nice guy, but he whiffs on the ball every damn time. And yet you wait for a different result.

I agree. Its funny... when people love a player they hang on to anything to make themselves feel better. Whether its Tebow or Quinn or Flutie or a myriad of other players (not just QB's) that "remind" them of someone great. He looks like Walter Payton or he reminds me of Marino ... chances are the reason youre picking HOF'ers instead of mediocre or even worse players is that you are personally invested in said player.

Why cant tebow be the next VY or the next Flutie? Why does he have to be Young? Because then he you would have to admit your hero is an average joe.

So they blame the coaches, media, other players, offensive systems or whatever to move blame from the fact the guy they love just plain cant hack it.

He didn't get first team reps, he didn't have the right plays called, the offense wasn't right, the coach didn't like him... the sirens call of all those that have failed in the league.

Have you renewed your prescription for blood pressure medication?

This is what the doctor ordered...

And I do my best to follow his directions, times 2

So, we didn't lose much when we went from 2nd to last (Kafka) to Tebow?
Even undrafted free agent Brian Hoyer has a higher passer rating than Tim Tebow:

Brian Hoyer - 75.5

Tim Tebow - 17.7

What's sadder than the supposed intellectual dishonesty is your apparent inability to comprehend what was said.

I mean, if I were to point out that even Tom Brady puts his pants on one leg at a time, I guess you would have a little conniption fit about the "comparison". "OMG, don't you DARE compare to Brady @!!!!"""R# OQ#W${ +(QRU( QW

Are you really that daft >?

I get he's your guy. Kaepernick is my Tebow... believe me I have been screaming from the Mountaint Top about how good I think he can be. So I really do get your love for Tim ... but the one thing I never do is say, "hes just like or he could be the next"... (insert player here) because inevitably youre never going to pick a scrub... its always going to be Joe Montana or brady or manning because that's what you believe he can be. If you just stay with your hopes and dreasm for tebow youll be fine. leave the HOF comparisons alone.
