I like how this game is shaping up. Lions are definitely not playing like this is preseason. Good wakeup call for the team.

BB is secretly pleased. I expect he loves the idea of playing Detroit in the preseason as this isn't the first time this has happened. Didn't the same thing happen last year also?

As was the case in all their losses last season, the Patriots offense cannot generate anything in the running game because their offensive line is being dominated at the point of attack. This is forcing them into being one dimensional and the mistakes under the bright lights start propping up.

They look soft, disinterested and not focused tonight so far.

that's about as close to absolute as you can get...the fumbles need to be cleaned up..or else the fumbler needs to be cut
