Combined Practices Are Great Idea

I can sleep peacefully now, knowing that Bob George approves of joint preseason practices between NFL teams.:sleep:

I detect a slight tinge of George disdain in your post....not a big fan, eh?

how about Lake George?..got anything against that?

George of the Jungle? no?

just Bob George huh?

well, if he starts doing Karma Chameleon takes on the karaoke machine I may have to join you...

Not a fan of joint practices. It just seems wrong to me, like the U.S. army training with Iran or something.0

When I go to practice have a hard time remembering all the numbers(the new ones especially), so when another team adds to the foray it compounds it exponentially... my brain hurts.

Too many bodies...

Maybe if the Pats were practicing with the Jets or Ravens, then yeah. But with the Eagles and Bucs, it's like the U.S. training the Afghanis for the impending Soviet invasion.

Wasnt it a joint practice with the Buccs that allowed Bill to like what he saw in Talib? Or amI misremembering that?

That would be the first time I've heard of it. Not saying you're incorrect, just that I hadn't heard about that until now...

It is true. Last August Pats and Bucks had some joint practices and that is supposedly when the idea was started that either BB saw something he liked or that the idea of trading him was bantered about.

As a disclaimer it also could have been Reiss or one of the writers speculating about something like this as I believe it was brought up in a chat or a mailbag.

Thanks. I edited my post after you quoted it. I didn't know if he was incorrect or not, just that I hadn't heard about it. So, in this case, joint practices were definitely a good thing since Talib's arrival helped moved McCourty to safety which improved the secondary.
