Honestly dude I have no idea why the Pats signed Tebow. It pisses me off to see all the clown fans that come aboard who love jesus and know 0 about football claiming Tebow should be get playing time. I could run a better offense than him. Dude is straight garbage and if it wasnt for the "good god allmight i love jesus" mumbo jumbo BULL**** he would be out of a job selling insurance.

How so? Am I wrong? Ignorant yes, factual... yes. Its the way it is, hate it or love it. Tebow is cheeks. Simple.

Factual? As one of the "clown fans" you refer to... I am agnostic, have worked with an NCAA Championship football team for over 5 years and don't believe Tebow should get playing time. (pretty much refutes your entire first paragraph...)

And for you being able to run an offense better....Tebow is one of the most decorated college quarterbacks to ever play the game... Holds multiple SEC passing/rushing records... he also holds many Bronco Team records and a few NFL records... but yeh... you're better.....

idiot

I've always thought you had a journalism background...and as you well know, I have unmercifully attacked you before because I have an unbelievable distrust of all media. That said, the last thing I would ever think of calling you is uneducated. You are opinionated and you are unafraid to back your opinion which is what makes for vibrant message board repartee. I only wish I had met you earlier the previous decade if only to pick your brain about Tony Gasbaggarotti.

Hey Joker - believe me when I tell you that one of my biggest pet peeves is the "clickiness" of the media. I saw it first hand and it was one of the larger reasons why I decided to pursue a 2nd undergraduate degree after my first tour of active duty concluded which allowed me to broaden my professional opportunities.

OK...which one are YOU?...I'm gonna go way out on a high wire and guess...bottom right hand corner?

More like the one with the yellow bowtie and pink corduroy jacket... that's more my style

Easy request: Please link 1 post where someone is saying Tebow should be getting playing time.

I mean, if all these clowns are all over this board clamoring for Tebow to get playing time over Brady or Mallett than it should be pretty easy.

Thanks! I apparently have a reading comprehension issue since I haven't seen a ******* one.

Ok - easy request answered. How many times have we had to read that Tim Tebow needs to get an opportunity to play quarterback on these boards even if it is in the read option package, or how Tim Tebow should get an opportunity to develop since he wasn't afforded that opportunity with the Jets, or that Tim Tebow, if afforded an opportunity to play, could become the next quarterback to raise his game to a level that isn't truly mediocre (i.e. the ridiculous parallel to Eli Manning and Andrew Luck).

If posters are making this statement, then don't you equate that to Tim Tebow getting playing time?

That is a fair conclusion that one would make.

wait...how do YOU know that's corduroy...unless...AHA!!!

then that HAS to be CC four over from your right...I LOVE pink boufant hair-dos

Literally the WORST QB ever to dawn a Pats jersey in the Belichick era, Id take Rohan Davey in a heartbeat over this clown any day.

You make a great point.

The Patriots backup QBs - who in nearly every instance have failed to become decent starters with all 31 other NFL teams - have typically been viewed by the majority of PatsFandom as the most talented, popular and considered the most under-rated players on the roster.

Conversely, Tebow is the backup QB who everyone seems to hate, regardless of the fact that he has many more NFL wins than Rohan Davey or just about every Patriots backup QB from the Belichick era combined.

Thus, given the history of player popularity among "knowledgeable" fans who think every backup has been worth a 1st or a 2nd rounder, Tebow probably has a much better shot to contribute.

Fans can't seem to get it through their heads that Belichick didn't bring Tebow here to challenge Brady at QB. He brought him here for the problems he causes for Defenses, even (especially) if he's on the field while Brady is under center (little things like carrying the ball for 31 yards on 4 carries.)

...So when I decided my online persona in 1997 all I could think about was the dead chick in my favorite movie. It's been 25 years since I saw the movie, but I'm sure I was the first to use this name on the internet. It's unique and I love that it makes younger posters to watch the flick just to get what other posters say about me. I made a pot for you.

Well, unfortunately this is no joking matter per CNN

FAWN LIEBOWITZ DIES - CNN iReport

RIP Fawn

WOUNDED DEER, Massachusetts - Emily ****inson College sophomore Fawn Liebowitz died suddenly last week in a kiln explosion on campus. Liebowitz, 20, a sociology major from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was tragically killed while firing a pot in the new kiln in Sylvia Plath Hall. "Messy" was how Wounded Deer Fire Chief Michael Redman described the scene of the accident. "It was hard to tell the pot shards from the body parts," said the pyrodefense professional. "She just blew like a frog sucking on a cherry bomb," Redman added.

I know when BB the front office guys switches over from the individual to the group.

And this all comes from experience in observing BB's comments and what he says
.

Demos - I hate to break this to you but after working in the Boston sports media and being a journalist for 10 + years, I have the experience and the knowledge base of knowing when BB, as subtle as he can be when he changes interview style, changes from individualized conversation to group conversatio*n.

I worked in the Boston sports media with NESN and the Patriot Ledger.

I have a degree in journalism.

I worked in Chicago and Tucson, Arizona in addition to Boston.

I love it when Blech90210 ~ AKA "Barry Lewis" ~ desperately tries to scrounge "InterNet Respect" from a Forum of Strangers by pretending that trailing around, unwashed and unpaid, after the Patriots for a few years, waving his arms frantically in the back of the room and screeching & squealing idiotic questions that never got answered...gives'm some sort of "Stature" that pages of temper tantrums & moronic assertions never could.

nobody makes me go through the looking glass faster than otg.

It's like that one boy scout camp where we all experimented, i have this sense of not knowing what is going on but liking it all the same.

Well if you read my next post you wouldnt have to embarass yourself. Since when did the Pats play College ball? What league are we in? SEC, BIG10? ACC? What Denver Broncos records does he hold? NFL records? what most air-time for a 3rd string QB in history?
, and the part where I was better was a little sarcasm but keep going with that. Sooooo yeah just keep on trucking right along.

Ok, valid point, I would take Bledsoe, Damon Huard, Matt Cassel, even Brain Hoyer over Tebow. To be 100 percent honest with you. Wait, how many of those rushing yards did Tebow have with Brady on the field again???:bricks::bricks::bricks::bricks:

Also, what's with trying to bring personal life into it as though that lends importance to your posts?

I don't care if you served on the ******* nobel prize committee that awarded the prize for lifetime achievement to little orphan annie, it doesn't mean you are a good poster on a football forum.

FTW, Brother Nord!! :rocker:

No, it's far from a fair frakking conclusion. Those of us making those statements are talking about Tebow taking his reps as QB3 in TC and the preseason. During the season, he would develop just as any other QB3 in the league would.

That is NOT EVEN CLOSE to the claim that is being made, that we Tebow fans are running around screaming for Tebow to get playing time that would normally go to Brady.

That this even has to be explained to you is actually rather shocking.

Tebow will be on the 53 to start the season.

He may not always be active.

Some need to get over it and move on ... he's probably the best 3rd stringer in the NFL.

With Tebow here we would be able to trade Mallet if Bill gets blown away from a desperate team.

Request was not answered, just post one example

Not talking specifically on this message board (even tho theres that christian guy name who just happened to show up after Tebow was signed). Theres other pats fans that arent on this message board...(believe it or not) that are just plain out ridiculous.

If you are not talking about this board then stop talking about it , its not happening here it has not happened here and you are just adding to all the Tebow noise on the board.

Now that's offensive. Myself, I volunteered in the USAF from 83-89. Did I see combat? Nope Did it matter to me if I had? Nope You join up and take your chances. The fact is I took 6 years away from my family and friends to make sure we all enjoy the freedom that we do. As I was leaving all 24 of those B-52 bombers that I had worked on were combat ready and set to deploy to Saudi. That was my job. I've been told by several friends who went TDY with them, that they did indeed do what we had prepared them to do. BTW E-4 Sgt pay in 1989 was $6000.00 per year. You're welcome:rant:

Why would you find that offensive?

You misunderstood completely. He said he "volunteered to serve". That is a big difference from "actually serving". I wanted to thank him for his service, but was just making sure he "actually served".

I have absolutely nothing but respect for any ServiceMember who serves, whether it's in peacetime, or wartime.

BTW, before you start saying "you're welcome" to people for your own service, you probably should make sure they haven't been in the military more than twice as long as you were and haven't deployed to combat zones a whole hell of a lot more.

But sincerely, thanks for your service as well, Airman. One team, one fight.

Now, back to pointless QB3 of the Patriots discussion!

Tebow is good!
No, Tebow sucks!
Wash, rinse, repeat...
