As an FYI - the replay on the NFL Network is on at 3 PM CST today. Not sure if it will be on at 4 PM EST but I thought that you guys would want to know for evaluative and discussion purposes.

Hopefully, there will be no more discussions of the effects of the Gregorian calendar as well.

Just wanted to chime in how much in enjoying the nfl preseason rewind. Got it for $15. The best part is I can watch every game in condense mode which takes about 30mins. Or just 10-15mins if I just wanna see the starters in the 1st half.

I think it is utterly ridiculous that preseason isn't a part of the regular NFL Game Rewind package. I went to the site to find the recent game, and realized that the $69.99 package doesn't include preseason. See, at first, I assumed that they just don't bother with preseason. No, no, no. Rather, you actually have to shell out more money for just a preseason package.

Even if there is no coaches tape, it should be included in game rewind....

It didn't hit me until just now how much they called running plays behind Mankins on the opening drive. If he's healthy, then that's definitely fantastic news for the OL.

Just finished watching the first half for Tebow. Some quick thoughts:

- His last pass of the first half to Washington was thrown like a shot put.

- His pass to Sudfield down the seam was probably his best pass of the half and just missed for a big play.

- When he incurred his first sack of the first half, he showed no desire or improvisation to get out of the rush by scrambling.

- His incomplete pass to Dobson on the right side was off and to the left indicting a winding up issue.

The miss to Sudfeld was huge. The window wasn't as tight as I originally thought it was when I watched the game. That was a play that could have went the distance. Instead, it turned into 3rd and 10 and a sack on the next play.

If we're blaming Tebow for that, Mallett deserves the same for his miss to Boyce which was a much bigger miss btw.

Opening drive of the 3rd, he has a guy open in the flats (couldn't see who), held the ball instead, and took another sack.

EDIT: And with these mentions of Tebow, this thread will now go to 400+ replies.

Where did I excuse Mallett for that? It doesn't matter who is quarterbacking. If I see a bad play, I'll call it. The poster I responded to originally brought up Tebow so I piggy-backed off of it with my observation. Bringing up a bad play by Mallett doesn't excuse one by Tebow.

For me, his worse miss was the one to a wide open Sudfeld on a rollout with Dobson open deep too. Tebow threw to neither and took the sack. His inability to make decisions is his biggest failing as far as I'm concerned and it was best exemplified in that one play. I still can't work out why he didn't throw to Sudfeld.

I didn't point the finger at you (or at least that wasn't my intention) but am frustrated because all week we've heard about how inaccurate Tebow was whilst that Mallett miss was the biggest of the night.

Was that Sudfeld in the flats? Or were you talking about the one down the seam?

If you want my take, neither quarterback was exactly awe-inspiring.

What a strike from Barkley. Weirdest quarterback I've seen when at college in some time. One play, he'll make a god awful throw and/or decision. The next play, he'll make a brilliant throw through a tight window like that.

Tebow insights on the 3rd quarter:

- First pass attempt, he had a guy wide open on the left flat. Decided to hold it. Sack lunch.

- Screen to Bolden. Well planned play. First down. Best play of the game so far for Tebow.

- First read option play by Tebow. To the left side for 4 yards. Yawn.

- 1 more read option play to Bolden. First down.

- Big hole to the left side on another read option. Brady's mom would have gotten a 1st down on that play.

- Tebow rolls out to the left. 1st down throw to someone (I think it was Aiken) before he got popped. The ball was a floater.

- Tebow stuffed on another read option play. Loss of 1 yard.

- Tebow read option pass. Sloppy play. Incomplete to Aiken.

- Tebow rolls to the right. Incomplete and intended for Dobson. Not sure what was downfield but I think there was no intermediate option to the right side for him to throw to.

Based on what I saw between Mallett and Tebow - there is a lot more flow and continuity with Mallett because he was making his progressions unlike whatever offense Tebow was orchestrating.

The balls from Tebow to Sudfield and Mallett to Boyce could have been big plays for each quarterback. Brady makes those throws.

It is safe to say that I am sure BB is not happy with both Jamie Collins and Tavon Wilson based on what they did in the 2nd half of this game.

I'd say that's pretty obvious. They both looked terrible.
