Not sure if he was but usually looking for defenders or up field causes those easy ones to hit the ground...

There's more positive takeaways than I would have expected so far.

While we've seen some misfires from Mallet and some dropped passes by receivers, etc. the thing that strikes me is:
1. Receivers all seem to know WHERE to be so far. We couldn't even say that for Ochocinco and some of our previous crew.
2. QB2 seems to know where to throw the ball to and is picking good spots. Now, mechanics stutter so there's incompletes. But he doesn't look like an interception machine or anything...

"D" is okayish too. Always find it hard to tell preseason game 1 where less defense is installed than offense.

All that matters is he catches them from Brady, Mallet throws the ball like his trying to strike someone out. I'm really disappointed in him so far

Mallet - -year 3 and the game is still too fast for him. Hope they keep him in third quarter, see if he relaxes a bit.

boyce has mallett throwing to him...good luck with that!

The substitute RGs are barely adequate. The Eagles are getting pressure on Mallett over that position. When Connoly or Cannon reclaim that job the running game will be even better; and the pass blocking should improve too.

Funny how maybe the best WR to come out of this class was the one that went undrafted. Loved what I saw out of Thompkins.
