Good lord, are you serious ? I mean, right after Tebow was signed, Joker ran around making all sorts of doom and gloom predictions about the oncoming hordes of rabid Tebowites who would demand that he start.

Still waiting for that one to materialize. It's not going to happen.


In Denver, BRONCOS fans were mainly the ones chanting TEBOW, TEBOW, and that's because they had already sat by and watched Orton go something like 7-22. Go figure. Starting QB sucks and actually costs the team some games due to his ineptitude and fans were calling for his backup. SHOCKING.

Tebow goes to NY where he has the misfortune to be behind Mark Sanchez. Sanchez sucked, like he did the previous season causing many NY fans to call "TEBOW, TEBOW".


This isn't Denver with Orton, nor is it NY with Buttchez. It's the NE Pats with Tom F'ing Brady. There will be no mass chants of "TEBOW, TEBOW" unless something damned near catastrophic happens, or if the brain trust of Bill and Josh design some play to use Tebow against the Jets and a TD is scored. Then, the chants of "TEBOW, TEBOW" would just be to rub it in.

I agree with this completely. And would also like to add that it's pretty poor for a fan to make fun of the backup qb during training camp. Those Brady chanters are basically hoping a player on the team fails. And the only reason why you'd hope a player on the team fails is if the backup is better but the coach is too dumb to realize it -- that is not the case here. Why aren't those same people chanting Brady when Mallet screws up? Some people seem to have an irrational fear of this non-existant pro-tebow crowd

I'd say the number of fans who actually "hope" tebow fails is nothing more than a microscopic minority compared to the whole fanbase.
