Not that most criminals are especially smart...but why would you bring in a cleaning crew to clean up a crime scene? I would rather dispose of "evidence myself. "dont forget to scrub that blood in the corner, and the mud I dragged in from Industrial park " oh yea, can you dump this gun in the river?

IF AH had gun residue on his hands he would be arrested already. I assume none of his friends had residue either.

Lets find the murderer 1st.

I guess in all the murders commited the people who saw the dead man "last" did it. Oops except for the one who really did it, who no one has seen.

Evidence destroyed....well dumb m ove if done after the facts, however may have been done because he didnt want to be dragged into something that he wasnt involved with. I mean he was with them, why to be dragged into it for nothing. If he was involved, he prob would have destroyed stuff earlier.....not sure about timline.

Growing up they way AH did, he prob knows a thing or 2 about how these things go down. Guilt by association. Went out together, drank, car, vid of the guys together, text....even if you are innocent you will get dragged into it. and at the very least as a public figure you will be dragged thru the mud

I get it. You hire a law firm that does not even list criminal law as a practice area - Ropes & Gray LLP: Practices - to represent an employee, and you have nothing to say about how the case is handled. Don't be ridiculous.
OK you're right. Ropes and Gray are going to behave in the most ultra-unethical of fashions, risk their entire law firm, their careers and their reputations and violate the lawyers' code of ethics because their lords and masters, Bob Kraft and Roger Goodell, just want this whole thing to go away.

That is an interesting choice for a lawyer either it implies that this is not a violent crime criminal investation (toward AH) or he has had him for a while.

And where has it been said that the Patriots hired this guy for Hernandez?
I was actually wondering that myself, but then I decided it was totally irrelevant. If a law firm is hired to defend someone, it doesn't matter who's doing the paying.

Why even leave a body where it can be found? 10 times harder to convict without a body found, even if the rest of the evidence points to AH.

A pair of gloves solves that problem.

Did he do this before or after the cops contacted him? That timeline seems unclear. If it was before, then he must've knew what went down, and that raised yet another red-flag. As if there weren't enough of those already.
If he was innocent and knew the deal, things probably would have gone a lot more smoothly had he been the one to call the cops.

Was that Hernandez or one of the two guys at his home?

On Fayston Street, Odin Lloyd was their star

June 20, 2013

To the residents on Fayston Street, Odin Lloyd was their star.

He was the boy who played pickup football in the street with the other kids.

He was a heartbroken teenager after a breakup with his high school girlfriend.

He was a man who sought counsel with his elders and stayed out of trouble.

Since the 27-year-old man was murdered, apparently in North Attleborough, this week, grieving residents and family are filled with disbelief and questions about his death and the connection to New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

On Fayston Street today where Lloyd’s family lives at a gritty edge of Blue Hill Avenue, grief arrived in twos and threes as mourners stopped by.

The family, who have roots in Antigua, placed four trophies of Lloyd’s on the rail of their front porch.

One of the trophies is of a baseball batter and catcher. The placard attached reads: Red Sox Rookie Lge. MPCC Gang Peace ‘97.”

The others were for track and field and football from John D. O’Bryant School of Math And Science, the Boston high school where Lloyd was a member of the football team.

A black-framed photograph set amid the trophies showed Lloyd in a blue football uniform with what appeared to be the number 82. His head was tilted to the side and he was holding a white helmet.

Lloyd played linebacker for the semi-pro Boston Bandits and participated in scrimmage at a high school field in Boston Saturday night. Lloyd had played for the Bandits since 2007 and was considered a speedy pass rushing specialist, according to his coach.

Today, one of Lloyd’s cousins, who said she is close to Lloyd’s mother, said someone picked up Lloyd from the the family home hours before he was found on Monday in an industrial park in North Attleborough.

Sometime later, Ursula Ward was asked to identify the body of her son.

“This is hurting his mother,” said the cousin Genevor Monell. “That’s her only son. She’s a loving mother. ... Yes, we are in the ‘hood, but she works hard and raised a good man.’’

Monell said Lloyd was born in St. Croix. He had a job and did not have children.

The last person he spoke with was his sister, she said.

Along the street, residents are shaken. Lloyd was one of the good ones whose death has been overshadowed by the link in his murder to a professional athlete, they said.

“Let’s not forget that he is the victim,” said neighbor Paul Sandefur. “When you are dealing with these cases involving big-name people, the victim gets lost. Everybody is talking about the celebrity, but the victim gets lost.”

If he destroyed his surveillance tapes then there goes the reasoning that he knew nothing about it .... IF this is true

Also if its ADT he uses or another big name security company then they will know exactly the time and up to the very second when the surveillance system was tampered with, another indicator of any wrongdoing

I am sure Fee is a great lawyer, but his expertise is white collar crime defense. Lots of health care law in that bio, no murders.

This is a different ball game. If this thing goes to trial, it will be interesting to see who Ropes & Gray brings in as co-counsel. This one could be big enough to bring in the 2013 equivalent of F. Lee Bailey, whoever that may be.

Based on that house and based on the key pad entry near the garage door, I would say that is a realistic possibility.

Firms like that don't touch "blue collar" criminal matters generally speaking. Ropes is a top law firm though.

So the question at this moment remains, are any of these reports 100% true? If one of the 3 guys including Hernandez did this I am pretty sure they would have found evidence for arrests. I am not convinced ahern did this. But somewhere he has a link to this.

To have gloves in the summer...means premeditated, doubt he would have had them and not dispose of body better, or gun

cleaning crews usually come by Monday Morning.

So you bring him a mile down the road from your house in a rental car in your name and then just leave it there?

Pats spokesman Stacey James says he doesn't know why Hernandez was at the stadium, no coaches there. Hope he didn't drag some of his **** into Gillette.

Yep,The Police are saying that Lloyd was slain sometime in the early morning hours of Monday between 1am and 5am ...if it was say,ADT he used and the Police asked them when they got the communications failure signal at Aaron's house and it matches that time frame,Aaron could be in serious trouble,if he isn't already.

I think the only concern regarding the "cleaning crew" is not the fact that it was probably scheduled but if they were asked to do anything above and beyond the ordinary regarding their cleaning details and procedure. I would think that is one of the standard questions an investigator would try to determine.

And where has it been said that the Patriots hired this guy for Hernandez?

Let's see, of all the lawyers in Massachusetts, do you really think that Aaron Hernandez picked Michael Fee to represent him in a case involving homicide? Read Fee's bio again. There are some excellent felony criminal attorneys in the Commonwealth, Mr. Fee and Ropes & Gray are not among them. That does not mean that Ropes & Gray can't do a splendid job assembling a team to keep Mr. Hernandez a free man.

Clearly, though, Aaron Hernandez is the client, not the Krafts or the Patriots. Fee refers to Hernandez as "our client" in the only comments reported so far.

Besides, it looks like Mr. Hernandez has been busy smashing phones, security systems and hiring house cleaners this week. What a mess.

Again, If done after the facts, maybe he just doesnt want to get involved, knowing the cam and texts bring him in contact with dead man. And he knows innocent of not he wil be dragged thru it. But dumb move anyway.
