Lost his #1 and #2 WR's.. each replaced by street FA's (not 1st rounders, or top level FA's, we are talking dudes without jobs)

Pats still ended 7th in scoring in the entire NFL with a rookie OC.. did i mention, rookie?
(if they had a rookie OC award, it would HAVE to be his)

Averaged around 31 PPG in the playoffs, against the BEST teams in the AFC..

Since working with brady, brady has had the best 3 ratings of his career

if the D didnt take a nap in the second half of the dolts game, the pats probably win the super bowl... and JM is probably considered for davis' HC job.

appreciate genius before it's gone... remember, everyone in cleveland thought BB was a loser... do you think they were right?

prediction: JM will be a head coach in the NFL; sooner, rather than later

Well Caldwell and Gaffney were close enough to being first round draft picks. Caldwell was what? 2nd round 4th pick? Gaffney 33rd overall?

Anyways thats not not the point.:bricks:

I am positive that Gaffney is a good WR.
Training camp is what? 3 months? Then a month for new recievers to really get it going with their QB.
Gaffney showed up when...Late Oct. or Nov? So from then until playoffs was what like 3 or 4 months. Get what I'm saying?:rocker:

um when u have tom brady..he makes people look better. we lost our WRs..okay. the WR coach did a good job getting these guys up to par..and plus they werent that good..i gurantee without Brady none of them would of had a good season anywhere else.

we ended 7th in scoring..well what top5 defenses have we versed? We practically passed the ball 75% of the time..with the lead aswell. worked against Vikings but not Colts..their pass D isnt nearly as bad

Working with Brady - okay..stick to being the QB coach

dont put it all on the D..did we chew up any clock when we had the ball?
take Samuel's INT away..we would only be up 14-6 at half..offensivly we had a lot of 3 and outs..stupid. you have a week to concentrate on a D that got much better and you cant execute anything? He abondons the run way too early..not in just this game but in many..

Many in New England think McDaniels sucks. Send ihm somewhere and maybe he gets lucky and pulls a Belichick..doesnt hurt or help us..he sucks here.

His playcalling is hard to watch..his favorite formation was 3 WR set with Gaffney/Caldwell/Brown. no playaction and there was always a safety in box..how do you get that safety out of there when your WRs arent legit enough to get respect? RUN PLAYACTIOn. Teams bltiz .. run screen.

^all that crap made us succesfull in the past..why change?

I tend to agree. McDaniels had a decent year. Considering the new material he was handed, to coordinate the league's 11th ranked offense is no small feat. On the same note, expectations will be greatly raised for next season - and I think we're all hoping that he improves even more.

look, i also think the WR's we picked up were nice finds... but i cant see how anyone could crap on an OC who is under 30, and finished 7th in points in his first year (even if he had the 49'ers offense in the late 80's)... i mean, come on, what did you hope for? JM didnt lose it, our defense did.. if our D held for one half, and we won the SB, you'd all be kissing his @ss. and al davis would have him for a head coach.

editor's note: i will say i think any team is a lot more dependent on the HC than the OC or DC anyways... do you all think BB just stood there and said, "go josh, geez i hope we win"?

Very nicely detailed, and it appears to be very accurate. I never realized that my alter ego, Josh, was as bad as you make him out to be, but now I see that he is.

I was beginning to think that he was the good side and that I was the bad side. Now I know better.

He seems to be very unpopular in New England, by a lot of people who understand the complexeties of offensive football in today's NFL.

It is very easy for those that are football knowledge handicapped to think that he did a good job.

one question. do you think JM called the entire offensive game? what do you think BB was doing? and...lol.. what playaction are you going to call, with a hobbled dillon, and a scatback. oh yeah, i forgot, you know more than BB who, in your little forum world, was flirting with the ladies while he said, "good luck josh"]

beat it nem

Isnt that what experienced offensive coordinators generally do? At least the ones that the head coaches have faith in.

what do you think the HC's do? flirt with chicks in the front row?
dude, BB has his hand in everything, including the turf... if BB didnt want fieldturf, there would be no fieldturf.
yer obviously a troll, or nem... there is no difference... well, yeah there is... trolls go away after a week, but we can never get rid of nem.

Something that I saw while perusing the stat sheets is that the Pats were tied for 6th with opponets returning a whopping 29 out of 68 punts. The Pats returned 36 punts on 79 attempts.

Never had an issue with McDaniels, sometimes it did look like he had a brain cramp out there, but overall our impatience with this offense may have been more of a factor than McDaniels. There are some things that could be better, but if you look at any team in this league every group of fans would have similar veiws. We all know the BB has the final say on everything, and he is not listening to his playlist during the games.

Word.

The final 34 minutes for Skippy, as well as for the rest of the patsies, was absolute bollocks. Case in point: the first offensive series of the 2nd half.

More examples to follow, when I have the time.

my post isnt all about the Colts game..its the whole season in general.

Let's see, 14-5. One first down away from going to the SB without Dillon or Faulk playing at all in the second half.

I agree with Remix on this, If our Offense had more time on the field, the D mightn't have been so Tired!

The Jury's still out on McDaniels for Me! yes he's a Rookie but Obviously BB thinks he can do the Job so we'll wait and see!!

i gurantee the McDaniel supporters sayign "hes just a rookie..give him time." are the same people busting on Chad Jackson
