Bleacher Report is usually superficial, but this explanation of Ridley's concussion is quite in depth but worrisome that he couldn't navigate his way off the field without assistance. I'm sure everyone joins me in wishing him the very best.

He does lay down some crazy hits but this helmet to helmet hit was on Ridley. He ducked his head right down into Pollard's head. Knocked himself out.

sorry to hear. hopefully this doesn't become a recurrent issue for him like it has for many other athletes.

on another note, does anyone know why that play was a fumble? His knee touched the ground then he was basically sitting up on the ground, still holding the football, and it wasn't until his back started to go down that he let go of the ball. Shouldn't the play have been over as soon as his knee touched with the ball in possession?
