The Boston Celtics of 1957-1969 (11 championships in 13 years) say hi. In addition, check the Dallas Cowboys from 1966-1985 with 20 winning years in a row with them making the playoffs 16 of 17 years (8 in, one out, 8 more in)

The Chicago Bulls dynasty owns any conversation for modern day sports.
We can talk about your grandfather's Celtics but the Bulls fans will never admit they were any less.
Congrats to our Pats, but unless TB wins another 3 or 4 Super Bowls, lets stick to football and not the hyperbole of "sport."

The Pats, like any of the 32 teams in the current NFL, only have to have a better record than the three teams in their division to make the playoffs. It doesn't matter what their record is, as long as it's better than the Bills, Dolphins and Jets. That puts them in a 4 team race.

No team in pro sports has been or is in the same ballpark as the 60's Celts.

San Antonio Spurs are always under the radar when it comes to this type of discussion--they have 4 titles under Duncan and Popovich plus a zillion division titles. Whats most impressive is how spread out their titles have been. I was rooting for them to go last year, but they just ran out of gas against OKC. Had they gone, they would have been to the Finals in 3 different decades(1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2012)

Pats have some jewelry catching up to do with the rest of the big boys I think. But the division titles are just obscene
