Oh and we might be able to get an early start on the 2013 Jets Suck thread.

Please let it be so :)

Hopefully they will suck just as bad in 2013. The 2012 suckage was EPIC. :singing:

so....forever means six months?

I did not know that...

See this is what people are talking about when they talk about how we're spoiled as a fanbase. How can they possibly suck that hard for two consecutive seasons? I mean they won a couple too, but I can't see how this JEST team would really suck more if they went 0-16. The suckage this season was poetic.

But then again, following up this season with an 0-16 effort... :D

What a wonderfully dysfunctional Green Beans season it has been. Hopefully there is ample rancor and melodrama in store for the off-season, followed by more circus shenanigans, losing, and abject New Jersey despair in 2013. :singing::singing::singing:

While the Jets' season is over, there's no need to feel sorry for them. They'll be able to get a real jump on the offseason Super Bowl, and you can be sure that next year's Jets team will the most talented in its history, no matter who ends up as the GM, coaches and players.

Even those 2oth century Pats teams that had 1 or 2 win seasons and awful coaching & ownership weren't as dysfunctional as Woody & the Jets.

There's only one thing missing. Cryin' Ryan gets fired and turns into a complete blubbering, sobbing fool at his final presser, makes a mad dash under a table assuming the fetal position and cries out, "No daddy! Don't hit me anymore! Nooooo!! You always liked Rob better!"

Out of football...out of TV...out of sight...out of mind...The Ass is Mended...Go In Peace.

"I mean, I'm contracted here, I want to be here," he said. "That's all I've known is a Jets uniform. I plan on playing here forever, so who knows?"
Dear Mr. Sanchez:

We would be delighted to see you remain as the franchise quarterback of the New York Jets as long as you are interested in holding the position. If you are, in fact, serious about holding the position, as you claim, "forever," then we will joyfully and with our full consent and agreement support you in that decision.

Long may you preside over the continued adventures of your storied franchise. We look forward to facing you on the gridiron for decades—nay, centuries!—to come.

Sincerely, and gratefully,
NE Patriots fans throughout all of time and space.

It's all well and good to poke fun at the Rats, but just like the Rats, the Pats will be sitting home next weekend watching the other teams play.

 :D

I read that earlier tonight, DI...here's the thing as I see it...YOU are team A on the road and you lose a tough one to your hated rival.....you wait with ANTICPATION for the next game in YOUR housae where you exact REVENGE...the Rats turtled at home a few weeks later, ate some rump and ended up in the dump.

Jet fans are indecipherably stupid...there is no other explanation.

The Jets (and their fans) perfect season

• Just doing some quick math here, but the Jets beat the Bills 48-28 in New Jersey in Week 1 (those were the days, or day), and lost to them in Orchard Park 28-9 in Week 17. That's a 20-point win, a 19-point loss, and a 39-point swing in the wrong direction. Sounds like the right summation for this debacle of a season in New York.
And for that one Jets fan out there who repeatedly told me I was an idiot for writing and saying all preseason that Rex Ryan's team had seven-win talent -- at best -- I'm thinking maybe we should talk now.

Lol, I was just reading that post.

There is just something about enjoying the pleasures of Jets fans misfortunes. I wish there was a word for it. Preferably German..

The best part of all of it is this:

Jets fans never learn. They might smarten up for just a minute, like when they figure out that Sanchez isn't the answer, but they'll be fooled just as badly by the next guy.

40 years of no Super Bowl appearances. 40 years of being the worst team in the division. 40 years of being the laughingstock of New York. 40 years, and still the fans cheer for that steaming pile that calls itself a professional football team.

but wait...I MUST retort...that's forty THREE years...don't want to leave out the extra three years of misery

This bears repeating:

Sanchez - "That's all I've known is a Jets uniform"

Breakthrough? Cry for help? Epiphany? Revelation?

I don't know what the right term is, but I think Mark may have a better idea why he hasn't been enjoying his job as much as he'd like.
