I posted this on the big Pats board, but thought having it here for a repost is ok, so I could do some changes. I'll probably keep changing, as we inch closer to the NFL Draft. But this is as of now on how I can see it go.

1. Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell QB LSU
2. Detroit Lions - Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame
3. Cleveland Browns - Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gaines Adams DE Clemson
5. Arizona Cardinals - Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin
6. Washington Redskins - Alan Branch DT Michigan
7. Minnesota Vikings - Jamal Anderson DE Arkansas
8. Houston Texans - Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma
9. Dolphins - Amobi Okoye DT Louisville
10. Atlanta Falcons Leon Hall CB Michigan
11. San Fransisco 49ers - Tedd Ginn Jr. WR Ohio State
12. Buffalo Bills - Dwayne Jarrett WR USC
13. NY Giants (trade with Rams) - Marshawn Lynch RB California
14. Carolina Panthers - Adam Carricker DE Nebraska
15. NY Jets (trade with Pittsburgh Steelers) - Jarvis Moss DE Florida
16. Green Bay Packers - Dwayne Bowe WR LSU
17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Reggie Nelson FS Florida
18. Cincinnati Bengals - Quinn Pit**** DT Ohio State
19. Tennesse Titans - Charles Johnson DE Georgia
20. Kansas City Chiefs(trade with St. Louis Rams via NY Giants) - LaRon Landry FS LSU
21. Denver Broncos - Darelle Revis CB Pittsburgh
22. Dallas Cowboys - Levi Brown OT Penn State
23. St. Louis Rams - Patrick Willis MLB Mississippi
24. New England Patriots(from Seattle) - Daymieon Hughes CB California
25. Pittsburgh Steelers - Michael Bush RB Louisville
26. New England Patriots(trade with Eagles) - David Harris ILB Michigan
27. New Orleans Saints - Lawrence Timmons OLB Florida State
28. Philadelphia Eagles - Brandon Siler ILB Florida
29. Baltimore Ravens - Jason Blalock OG Texas
30. San Diego Chargers - Anthony Gonzales WR Ohio State
31. Chicago Bears - Robert Meachem WR Tennessee
32. Indianapolis Colts - Paul Posluszny OLB Penn State

Regarding a non Patriots pick, I can't see the Browns taking Johnson already having a #3 pick at WR and #7 pick at TE. I would put Branch or Peterson in for them.

Howdy stranger!

If - Jason Blalock OG Texas is there at # 28 I hope we grab him. We need to open the holes for our running game.

Strengths:
Outstanding size and bulk...Good athleticism, quickness and balance...Very strong and powerful...Stout at the point and does not get pushed back...Will overwhelm defensive linemen at the point...Has a great initial punch...Moves well...Smart and a hard worker with top intangibles...Terrific run blocker and a road grader...Nasty and plays with a killer instinct...Is versatile...Durable and has a lot of experience.

hes a little overrated and plus do we need a guard? Mankins and Neal are pretty good arent they? we need a tackle..probably on the right side if Kazcur cant step it up

I don't see the need to draft interior linemen, I wouldn't mind Levi Brown in round one, or Tony Ugoh in round 2, Brown might be able to push Light and Kaczur for LT as a rookie, Ugoh would probably need a year in the Dante Scarnecchia Academy. Both Light and Kaczur missed the off-season program while rehabbing their injuries, Kaczur came back later since he was injured late in the 2005 season. I thought both improved as the season wore on, hopefully a full off-season program and training camp can get them tuned up properly for 2007. I haven't looked at day two OTs, but I do want more depth at LT, though Kazur coming back mid-season helped.

A little more time with Dante and O'Callahan should be able to take over the RT spot. IMO, Kaczur will eventually be our LT. Did too well in his rookie year to not get a shot,

Kaczur did well considering the circumstances (3rd round rookie forced to start at LT) but he wasn't good. He was worse than Light - he only did well if you grade him on a curve given that he was a rookie.

BBFAN -
Have you got back and looked at Light from his rookie year? Light was a LOT worse than Kaczur was.

Now, I won't say that Kaczur will be the future LT, but he's a definite swing tackle, who is better than Ashworth was. I think the step back from Light was negligible at best.

So, you think that with Logan Mankins signed though 2010 and Neal just re-signed through 2010, that the Pats will make another 1 round OG pick. Interesting.

I was talking about Kaczur vs. Light now. Sure that's unfair and I was responding to a thread that said "eventually" but this is the FA era and I expect Light to be the LT through Kaczur's first contract. If eventually means into another contract when Light's getting old, that could be different.

Nick Kaczur 7/28/1979
Matt Light 6/23/1978

They're much closer in age than people realize.

That's right, I forgot Kaczur was an older rookie. So next year Light will be 28. OL tend to age well, he should still be starting through Kaczur's first contract.

I didn't realize they are just about the same age....

H'mm lots things going on here to discuss:

I don't recall the problems with Kaczur at LT BBF mentions, I certainly don't recall Light being that much better. This training camp should be interesting with both Light and Kaczur ending the season healthy and ready to participate in the off-season program. I frankly hope there is active competition for LT to get the very best at the position.

O'Callaghan will be interesting to watch after the off-season program, I'd like to think Woicik and Nash can improve his footspeed.

Db, Ashworth was an adequate swing tackle. I know people are down on him after the Denver divisional round loss, but people seem to forget he had the flu and was questionable right up to game time. We only have to look at this season's loss at Indy to see how the flu takes it out of you playing at that level. If Britt can improve and be more competitive or the Pats can bring in more competition at OT in training camp, this should be a good year on the line.

Yo Box,

Are you saying that the flu is responsible for our loss at Indy??????

Unfortunately when you lose by so little, there are a bazillion little things which would have made the difference - and it's safe to say that the flu is one (but only one) of them.

What BBF said, it was a factor, biting on play action was a factor, dropped passes and penalties were factors, throwing interceptions was a factor. Would eliminating any one factor have been enough? Who can say, Indy might have been able to make a different play under different circumstances, they certainly did that enough in the game. But as to the flu taking some of your physical and mental energy, I'm sure we can both agree it does and would have wished for our boys to have been at their best for such a high energy contest.
