The Cards beat 'em, the Hawks beat 'em. Is it really necessary to remind ourselves that our gang has a stronger defense AND more dynamic offense then either of those?

Why the panic?

Because they whipped the Texans? Let me tell you, the Texans have been skating on thin ice for over a month now and it just broke on them last night. No shock.
Cause they managed to win a shootout with the mighty Bills? Oooo.
Cause they squeaked out an OT win over the Jets? wow...
Cause they beat the Fins by a TD. Now I'm really scared.

We on the other hand have been trying new things, bringing top draft picks up to speed, and preparing for the home stretch.

Final score: Niners 31, Patsies 13

Did you Have to bring them here, the mods work hard to keep the trash out.

All in good fun. Plus I thought their fan base was cool and knew football well. I guess not.

Most 9ers fans are *******s. We get more than our fair share of them on Seahawks boards.

The 49ers beat the Packers, Lions, Jets, Bills, Dolphins, Cardinals, Seahawks, Bears and Saints. Aside from Green Bay, who have they beaten exactly (and that was in the opener)?

Kind of funny to talk about how we lost to Seattle and Arizona when they tied and then lost to the Rams, whom the Patriots absolutely smoked. The Patriots beat the Texans, Broncos and Colts. Those are three of the 10 best teams in the league. What good win have the 9ers' had lately?

You weren't here years ago when this board was flooded with trolls, the mods work to screen them out. Just sayin.

Oh...

Apologies

Honestly, most of that could have been taken from NFLN this morning. Consensus on the AM show was that the Texans were beat up, wasn't really that big a game for them, Niners are tougher, much more physical than Texans. Kind of weird, then, that none of them (that I know of) saw all that before last night's game.

I do think however that the Niners' fans bit about getting top picks up to speed and preparing for the home stretch is something maybe the Pats should consider. ...

Chicago, but they're not at full strength.

I love in San Jose right near their Santa Clara facility and let me tell you 49er fans are so annoying. This is the game I have circled since the season began as the game I'm looking forward to see the Patriots win hopefully. Everyone has gone 49er since last year and they think they can blow anyone out obviously with a defense like they have I wouldn't blame them but their overconfidence is what annoys me. The trash talk has commenced since I went to school this morning already telling
me that " Smith gonna make Brady cry.." "Patsies haven't faced a real D yet and lost to the Cards" etc

Hey, it's not as if the Patriots are starting 3 rookies on the defense, or anything crazy like that.

I don't have much experience dealing with 49er fans and I hate generalizing fan bases but everyone I know who has been to a game in SF has said that 49er fans are ignorant dbags. Hoping that it was just the drunks at the stadium and we don't have an influx or morons this week.

Case in point:

"I think Green Bay's offense is better than the Patriots"

This could be a long week.

The Pats have the 4th toughest schedule in the league currently. The Niners have the 15th. End of discussion when it comes to who they have played.

Given that the Patriots are currently scoring 11.5 ppg more than the Packers, and that the Packers are currently 10th in the NFL in scoring, I'd love to see the poster's underlying reasoning for that claim.

Oh boy...the Packers score 12 points per game less than we do. Do these people even watch the NFL? That'd be like me saying "I think Miami's defense is better than the 49ers'".
