Brady named AFC player of the week - again - Extra Points - Boston.com

Tom Brady has been named AFC offensive player of the week for his 23-for-35, 304 yard performance against the Rams in London.

Brady threw for over 300 yards for the fifth time this season (though only the second time in a Patriots win), and also had four touchdown passes.

This is the second time this season and 22nd time overall that Brady has been recognized with the weekly honor. He and friend/rival Peyton Manning are tied for most player of the week awards all-time.

That can't be......All day PatsFans have been moaning that Mannings win all awards. Clearly the NFL has erred........for the 22nd time

Congrats Tom Brady and Happy Halloween!!

You know what's a possibility for you? Not clicking that thread, instead of *****ing about it on every opportunity. It's a bye week, dude, there's not a lot of Patriots-related talk going around. Let people discuss whatever they please.

But I can't discuss whatever I please???? I think your Uggs are on too tight

Nice! I'm half surprised though - given the lack of highlights or discussion of the Pats' win on the NFL-owned channel, I didn't think anyone over there even noticed

Didn't you read the announcement? Here's a transcript if you missed it:

"Even though Peyton Manning's performance was, as always, superior in all ways, Tom Brady has been named 'AFC Player of the Week' as a gesture of respect for the hardships faced by New Englanders during the recent storm."

This, I missed most of the game, So i thought lets catch the highlights on NFLN or ESPN and to my surprise there was hardly any coverage of the win, the only video they kept showing was the GRONK Nut Cracker Spike .....
