This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

When Jets fans finally come to grips with the fact that Sanchez is a bottom tier NFL QB, they'll be better off.
When will Jets management get it? Incredibly they extended this guy right when they should have been dumping him.

I really think Rex goes home at night and drinks his own Koolaid. I've never heard more bullcrap come out of a coach's mouth. It's all bullcrap. I'm sure the players don't believe it any more and by game 10 or 12 we may see them QUITTING more and more often.

And the Niners did say they quit. Screw what Koolaid man says about it.

With their current situation, the Rats fans are becoming more introspective and admitting things they haven't been willing admit to before; to themselves and/or to others.

Pay close attention....

...and take notes.

When the Jets front office finally comes to grips with this fact, the Pats will be worse off.

Meh...Tebow is not a QB. They should just bench Sanchize who has always sucked but this year he is getting 0 help to go along with that.

They should look at what that kid McElroy can do. The end result can't be any worse and atleast he scored a TD in the preseason and had the balls to call out that ****ty locker room of the jets. Something Sanchez or that fat/skinny coach would never do

You really can't go to McElroy until you try the Tebow experiment and get to about 3-9. Then throw him to the wolves behind a crap OL with no one to throw to supported by a D allowing 30 a game, and see what he's made of.

Ocho's random approach to route running would actually fit into Sanchez's scramble throws
I believe that.

I think it's interesting that they didn't re-sign Burris this week. They clearly don't want him, but they are so desperate for help that I'm just still amazed. He cannot be that bad in the RZ. Who else have they got?

It's clear as a sunny day that Rex Ryan has NFI when it comes to offense. Let's have a look at the fine offensive skill releases the Jets have made thanks to Rexbaum's idiocy;

Code:
2009 - RB Thomas Jones 1402 yards 14TDs
2010 - WR Braylon Edwards 904 yards 7TDs
2011 - WR Plaxico Burress 612 yards 8TDs

That list doesn't include the fine role Woodhead has gone on to perform for the Patriots. But hey, stack your D with overpriced, under performers whilst beating up on NFL dregs.

Think.
I considered that signing and then I thought, "But to utilize Burris they'd need to GET to the Red Zone. Ain't gonna happen."

“Plaxico, I have a great deal of respect for and obviously, he had eight touchdown catches last year,” Ryan said. “There are some things he did really well for us. We’re trying to look for guys maybe a little younger and with a little more speed. I think when you look at [Jason] Hill, the guy we just signed, he has those attributes, and that was what I think jumped out at us. We want to get faster as a football team.”

Jason Hill has 76 receptions in 5 years, but he's fast.

Stay stupid, Jets. :rocker:

JI has a Shonn Greene thread. These are the names for ground and pound.

Round and Mound
Hound and bound
Drowned and Frowned!
JAG and lag.
Ball & Fall
Bumble & Stumble
Snail & Fail
Slow & Blow
juke & puke
rumble & bumble
ball & fall
Run & done

Greene is rushing at a whopping 2.8 ypc clip. The Pats are grounding and pounding far better than their ball-control neighbors to the south. But then again, they are doing pretty much everything better.

'Sound FX': Jets fall 34-0 - NFL Videos

Is this how he coaches in the sideline ? "Make a play D" ...strange.

That was fun.

Is it just me or do you guys notice that Sanchez seems to be afraid to be hit?
I've seen him chuck and duck, that fumble on the scramble looked like he was scared and on the Int on the screen he seemed to only care about dumping it as quick as he could.

At this point, what good is Burress to them? They are going nowhere, so they might as well try to develop some kids instead of wasting time on a guy who will be retired by next year, if he isn't already.
Not that they thought this through, its more kind of correct by default.

The Jets offense is not "pound and ground" but "chuck and duck"!

For two weeks in a row, the NY Jets are facing NFL franchises that the NY Jets were praying to be.

Seriously I can recall at least a dozen times that I have seen him heave the ball, and then duck to avoid the pass rush. To me, once should have him on the bench, but hell sucking as a QB doesnt even do that, why should being scared?
Chuck and Duck Unlimited Ceiling Sanchise.
