Think JetFan is so Freudian that he has somehow sublimated the failings of HIS team and projected that hurt ,anger and disappointment on the Patriots??...I mean it really is getting weird with these complete Jet nutcases....

JEST fans are incapable of psychological(*) sublimation: that's a positive defense mechanism that is incompatible with the self-delusion and cognitive dissonance necessary to be a JEST fan.

(*)I will not speculate on their ability to undergo chemical sublimation, however. :singing:

A new entry in the Jets' homer of the year sweepstakes:

This year's different. Light and Gallery are both retiring. Vollmer has been meh. Brady needs a great O-line to protect him not just because of health but also as great as he is he needs time to make his downfield reads. That's why he keeps losing to the Giants in the Super Bowl.

I would gizz if I got to see Coples introduce himself to Tom Tom this year.

Yes, the retirement of Gallery is huge. He was a rock on the Pats' o-line last year. I wonder if this moron knows that Gallery didn't play for the Pats last year.

I also wonder if he realizes that Vollmer has more All Pro selections than any of the Jets' o-linemen other than Mangold.

It is funny that he thinks Brady needs all this time to make downfield reads. Isn't some of Brady's greatest strengths being quick reads and a quick release?

I also look forward to Coples introducing himself to Tom. I picture it going something like this:

"Hi Tom. I'm Quinton. Nice to meet you.

"Now I am going to sit down on the bench while the Jets defense takes the field."

It's a copycat league alright...

Jenny Vrentas's Photo: Brawl! After being pushed out of bounds, Joe McKnight threw ball at D'Anton Lynn's helmet. Snowballed. #nyj | Lockerz

Jets are brawling after McKnight took offense to being shoved out of bounds by an UDFA defender who happens to be the assistant RB coach's kid...so he rifled the ball at him igniting a free for all. Spilled into media zone and within feet of their loyal fans... I'm sure Rex will spin this as a good thing.

Here's some video of the tail end of the fracas. I think I notice some kicking...and of course JETS fans cheering (something, finally).

Namath is at it again calling Tebow a gimmick and this AM Phil Simms said the JETS should cut him because he played some of the worst QB-ing he's ever seen last season and he isn't going to help the JETS and his presence will just make it worse for Sanchez... Love it...

The Pats OL situation might look bad right now, but the Jets WR situation is even more of a mess, and they don't have 3 starters waiting in the wings to come back. I can only think of a scene from the Wizard of Oz, where Dorothy (played by Mark Sanchez) is skipping down the Yellow Brick Road, trailed by Homes, Hill and Schillens. All going to the Emerald City to see the Wizard of Oz, who will hopefully give them all what they need. Holmes a heart, Schillens health, and Hills, experience. And of course Sanchez a brain

In reality their WR situation is a MESS. Holmes has the bad rib. Kirely a bad hammy, and both Hill and Schillens have misses practices. The Jets NEED to be a ground and pound offense.

The Pats' o-line situation looks bad right now only because three of the projected day 1 starters aren't practicing yet. The Jets' WR situation looks pathetic even at 100%.

I know there are Jets fans who are saying that Stephen Hill will be their Calvin Johnson (who is nothing like Hill other than playing for the same college team) or Randy Moss (who he is far more like if he ever reaches the lofty potential people have for him). Even if he becomes an elite WR, he will likely not be close to that this year since he is very raw.

Here's some video of the fight, shortly after Lynn wrestled McKnight down.

LOL! The Jets are so preoccupied with the Pats that they even try to outshine them in brawling techniques.

The irony of it is that McKnight got injured in practice today, but not in the brawl.

The Patriots O-line is a disaster!

Wayne Hunter didn't practice today. By default, that should have been a huge improvement to their offensive line.

No offensive line has a chance against the onslaught of the juggernaut that is the Jets defense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving will be a glorious day. Great food/getting wasted and watching the Pats kick the Jets ass in "their house" cough Giants.

I wouldn't mind losing to the Jets, as long as we fell to Tim Tebow! I love that guy

But to be a Ground and Pound O, you need more than 3 Offensive linemen and a single average RB. Last time I looked it took at least 5 O linmen and a couple of RBs, which the Jets don't have. It also takes a threat of a passing game to prevent 8 or even 9 in the box, which the Jest don't seem to possess either...

that jets O looks to be shaping up!!

Sounds a lot worse than it is.
