Praying for a solid draft on defense. We will need it.

I don't like the dangerous start--we could be 1-3 out of the gate.

Titans, Cardinals, Bills are a "dangerous start"? lol

to add on to this, it says NBC on nfl.com too. awesome!

looks like jmc00 beat me to it.

Part of the latest round of network contracts included NBC getting the evening Thanksgiving game, rather than it being on the NFLN.

LOL @ the poor souls who think we have a tough schedule!!

It's the poor fools who face US that have the tough schedule!!

Haven't you jamokes learned ANYTHING???

like the early part of the schedule... as of today, i will get loses to the ravens , billls and jets.... i think one other losss is possible... but as long as 12 is healthy and we have a solid draft on defense.. no way would should finish less than 12-4

First half is tough. Denver with Manning and at Buffalo has upgraded itself with new players, Jets always tough (and ugly).

With the way the team has filled out it's depth, if it can hit paydirt in the draft, I don't think I'll be worried about any game on the schedule. I really mean that.

I saw on ESPN that we have the "easiest schedule on paper" but I'm not so sure how I feel about that statement. I counted 4-6 realistically losable games. One in particular that I don't like is @ Seattle. For whatever reason teams have a real tough time out there it seems. Baltimore early might be a loss, even the cardinals early could beat us, although I think we pull that one out. I believe our bye is week 9 (correct me if i'm wrong) that should help us make a nice push towards the postseason. Overall I feel pretty good, could be better could be worse but hey it's the NFL anyone can win any given week.

I don't like the dangerous start--we could be 1-3 out of the gate. And 5 road games in the first half is tough too.

Gotta disagree with above poster and think the second half is easier.
If we go 1-3 out of the gate we won't be good enough to deserve to go anywhere.

The Pats are playing in Seattle again after doing so in 2008. I thought that teams were supposed to alternate Home and Away games with NFC teams?

painfully easy schedule for BB and co.

So let's evaluate that fake schedule! I'm not going to repost it here but trust me when I say that except for the St. Louis game and the bye week (which we all already knew), they didn't get a single week's opponent right. Statistically speaking they should have guessed right at least once!

Although it did accurately predict the Pats playing in the Thanksgiving night game, just got our opponent wrong.

I could easily see a 5-3 start before the break in week 9

That's my guess

That's not good for those of us who don't get NFL Network. Probably no sports bars open that night either. 2 night games in December could be kind of interesting too. The bye week seems to be in a pretty good spot and a lot fewer 4:15 games than last year. Superbowl here we come.

It'll be on NBC too, I think.

Looks like a pretty good (easy) schedule but then again 2008's schedule probably looked pretty good too. Hopefully something similar doesn't occur and throw us off our rocker. Any thing can happen in this league. We do play Bernard Pollard pretty early in the season...

Also, how did Pats/Broncos not make prime-time?

all that matters is that we make the playoffs, folks. 9-7 can win you a super bowl these days.

It's funny that in Vancouver, BC (where I am), that the NFL Network is part of our cable package, but in many US cities it is not.

I'll be making the trip to Seattle to cheer on the Pats. Still have great memories of the last time they played there.

16-0, here we go!

Now seriously, I'm not even slightly worried. This team hasn't had a losing season since '00, and I look at our schedule and I can see some tough games here and there, but I can't envision a case in which we lose more than 5 games if Brady stays healthy.

And man, still 4 and a half months until the kickoff, and I already can't wait...
