Why do people do this? BJGE is a #1 RB in the NFL. Not a #2 RB. Dinging him because of a turf toe injury is silly. The Pats have under-utilized BJGE regularly here and I have said since mid-season that it wouldn't surprise me if he moved on and became someone else's #1 RB and had success.. He's proven to be a damn good RB. Attempting to take away from him only shows poorly on you.

I agree. I was just saying if reports are teams are offering him 3-4 million a year, they see him as a starter rather than a rotation man, which many here see him as.

BJGE without turf toe is a RB that gets 4.1-4.4 ypc, never fumbles, and can handle the pounding of 20 carries a game. If a team can utilize him better than we did he'll find success.

Yes. I have seen Morgan play. There aren't a ton of guys out there like Morgan. Wanna know why? Morgan actually works at it. He runs good routes and looks to improve. Does he drop some? Sure. So do Welker and Branch. And Morgan has never had a QB as good as Brady throwing him the ball.

By your logic every WR not currently on the Patriots must be the next Wes Welker.

Now that the Redskins have Garcon and Morgan, will they cut Gaffney? If so, will the Pats bring him back?

Gaffney would be a nice complimentary piece here.....sign him to replace Branch....Ocho? Still not sure what BB is doing here with this guy.....maybe after one more offseason of reviewing the playbook it will all sink in....but not that hopeful. We still need a WOW factor wide receiver on this roster. We need a receiver that will stretch the field to some degree....I would like to see them throw a first to get Mike Walker. Guy is proven and can stretch the field out....opens it all up for welk, gronk, hernandez....rb out of backfield...and even an occasional down and out to Ocho.......Sign the beast BB!
