Is anybody else struck by how many of the Patriots' players lost their fathers to illness at a young age? McCourty, Hernandez, Wilfork, Ihedigbo...that's a terribly sad shared legacy.

And on the opposite end of the spectrum, how many of these fathers were coaches.. for a while there thought that was a prerequisite.
