I just checked a bunch of drafts and these players were available when we picked our first 1st round pick on 11 of 12 mocks.
Who you you take if your BB for a day? There were a few WR's but I left them off. I'll defer to you experts..............

Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn St.
H.B. Blades -OLB - Pitt
Lawrence Timmons OLB FSU
Lamar Woodley DE/OLB Michigan)
Jarvis Moss DE/OLB Florida
Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
Marcus McCauley, CB, Fresno St.
Darrelle Revis, CB, Pitt
Fred Bennett -CB South Carolina
Michael Griffin, S, Texas
Reggie Nelson, S, Florida

Marcus McCauley would be my pick.

As of now, Pos.

Posluzny would be my choice. Particularly with the talk of Bruschi potentially retiring. We need a blu-chip ILB and I believe he would fill in admirably.

To me Bruschi retiring is not really relevant. We need linebacker help for the future. Seau and Bruschi aren't the future.

... With the 32nd pick

what they're going to do is take their 28th pick, trade down, out of the 1st round, then realize that they're complete morons and dont know what they're doing, then trade back up for the 32nd pick

hell, i wouldnt be surprised

i like mccauley, woodley more so, and pos

Pos- just another guy. I've never seen him do anything special.
HB Blades, good player, always around the ball but short and not that fast...don't think he's a first round pick
Timmons, athletic freak, best player on field in bowl game don't know if big enough for our 3-4
Lamar Woodley- overrated too slow for 3-4 OLB
Leon Hall - overrated not quick enough got burned in OSU game
Marcus McCauley - great measurables, good year in 05, struggled in 06 hard to figure him
Revis- stud, great ball skills, shut down corner, great athlete
Bennett - great athlete not that physical
Griffen - just another guy to me, didn't play well in bowl game
Reggie Nelson - great effort, athletic ability, playmaker, but looks thin as a rail to me, maybe 180 pounds.

I hope they draft guys like Revis, possibly mcCauley, Moss, Anthony Spencer (maybe 2nd round), Chris Houston (CB arkansas) maybe 3rd/ 4th round.

Just please no Smardizja or WR Rice.

I have to agree with McBee's evaluations. The only thing I'd add is that I'm not sure Revis is fast enough for CB in the pro's.

However I think his ball skills are among the best in the draft.

From that list I'd take Revis, provided he runs well enough to play CB.
