NY Daily News: Start Planning the Parade

Daily News sucks! Gary Myers has been trashing Eli from 2004 up to last week. I also don't believe in "bulletin board material". Its the Super Bowl. Are some of you telling me by making the players aware of this article the Patriots are going to work harder and play better? I don't this so.

And didn't the Patriots trademark 19-0?

The Giants were a media punching bag and an after thought, if they ever came up prior to SB42 that is. I'm sure that didn't motivate them at all.

Trademarking 19-0 is a smart business decision. Why let someone else do it?

EDIT: Ask Rodney Harrison.

Rule of thumb: Never give the Pats bulletin board material. Way to go NY!

If I'm BB......I tape one of these to the front of every locker on game day

Before 42, I thought there was no way the Giants were going to beat us, I just could not fathom it. I will be nice for us to also beat them seeing us a lot of people don't think we can match their WRs.

Seriously, I don't even know why I bother reading this paper. I made the mistake last Super Bowl of reading this paper the two weeks before the game and had to deal with all the statements of Brady being "girlie," etc.

Apparently they are very confident in NY.

Since when did Rex Ryan start working for the NY Daily News????

Go to Kinkos, blow up a huge size poster, and put it in plain sight inside the Patriots locker room.

I'm trying to remember what Gil Santos said (It's on the 3 Games to Glory DVD) before the 01-02 AFCCG in Pitt -- something about despite the prognostications of doom for the Patriots, they are actually going to play the game today. Something like that. This game is gonig to feel the same, Vegas odds or no.

Anyway, in searching for the video I came across this one. Man, check out Bledsoe at about 17 seconds in after taking the first kneel down. Pretty emotional moment.

...

Anyway, back on topic: Keep it coming, media, NY and elsewhere.

Then you are naive. The mental aspect of the game is huge.

I agree the mental apect of the game is huge. It just doesnt come from bulletin board material. It comes from wanting to win the Super Bowl and all that comes with it. I have a hard time believing that anything else can make you more focused for this game.

Ever hear of a fat guy named Rex Ryan?

Well, the Giants havent lost since he opened his yap and provoked them. Coughlin admitted Ryans BS gave his players motivation.

90% mental... 10% physical

I thought Gary Myers was the Jets beat guy. Maybe he's trying to jinx the Giants...imagine how bad Rex and Co will look if the Giants win after the Jets were in the AFCCG twice in 2 years.

and for some reason.....Justin tuck is saying this
People don’t give us a shot and we like that

Tons of people like the giants. He must be reading some old article dated 2007. The disrespect card is not going to fly............

I dunno, from the look of it the Commissioner has already given Manning the trophy. That's a big hurdle for the Patriots to overcome.

The media down here has zero doubt that the Giants are going to win. In fact, I haven't seen so many fans of a team be so certain that their guys were going to prevail in a Super Bowl since I visited this board the week before SB XLII.

Nah. He's sort of a general NFL writer for the News. Sometimes he actually makes sense, but he's climbed on the Eli bandwagon now after being one of his most vocal critics for the last couple of years. He's just trying to sell Newspapers.

Somebody here needs to make sure that Belichick sees this. Send it to Patriots.com, send it to some players on twitter or send it to Reiss on Twitter.

Somehow, I think that the Patriot players, coaches, management and ownership have a lot of friends in NYC. My guess is that the link has been forwarded to Foxboro and elsewhere in the Boston area about a hundred times today.
