Just turned on ESPN...all about Denver/Broncos and Tebow

Can't stand him...

Yep, First Take is the all Tebow all the time show

Why not talk about the winning teams? Why worry about a ****ty QB who probably won't even be the starter next year

Tebow is a great guy but he can't play QB. Maybe he could if he took a year or two off and re-did everything but they tried that during his draft offseason and he's reverted back 100%. I have no doubt Elway is cursing all those wins because he can't get rid of him but he can't win a Super Bowl with him.

I would put everything I own on Elway wishing he had Ryan Mallett and not Tim Tebow.

You don't want more talk about Tebow, so you started a thread about it....

Hate ESPN and the media not Tebow, the kid is a great kid limited as a qb, espn is a horrible hype machine.

They should give Hoyer a chance
I can't see Elway wanting Hoyer, Elway was a gunslinger who could throw 50 yards on a rope across his body - if he weren't stuck with Tebow I'd love to know what he'd trade for Mallett now that Ryan is (almost) a year removed from the rumors about him.

Tebow is only a terrible QB until someone wants to make the argument that the Pats postseason defense has turned a corner & is playing lights out now.

rather see tebow on ESPN than the damn highlights of the ravens/Houston game god that game was boring

You guys understand that the media covers the topics that they think people are interested in, right?

You guys seen the TV ratings for Broncos games this year? People like (...or are at least interested in) Tebow. Therefore, the media will talk about him.

Skip just now: Tebow took over a team 4-14 last 18 games. Comparing him to Brady.

Didn't rookie Brady take over an 0-2 team that went 5-11, thus being 5-13 last 18 games? No comparison as Brady put up better numbers, won more games, and swept through the playoffs.

Sat next to 4 people from Denver Sat night. 3 were Bronco fans and one was a Pats fan (they were together). The Pats fan from Denver said the media coverage in Denver is 100 times worse (as you would expect). But what surprised me is he said that 90% of the Bronco fans 1) can't stomach the Tewbow coverage...and 2) know that he is not the answer.

This surprised me.

Anyway....who cares. Let's get ready for the Ratbirds! :rocker:

The bigger issue is watching them. Tebow can't play QB at this time. He's a FrankenQB running a FrankenOffense that won't compete for championships.

If I were a Broncos fan I´d eternally curse McDaniels for drafting Tebow. I don´t know if he will amount to anything decent in the next years, and even though I don´t see it happening, but even if he does...

What I would really hate about the whole thing as a Broncos fan is the rift it seems to create in the fanbase, mainly all the Tebow-first fans, who worship him for his Florida days, and would have followed him anywhere and by coincidence it happened to be the Broncos and they are flooding their messageboards and stop any decent discussions on the pros and cons of Tebow. I would hate to have that kind of fandom in our fanbase, who really don´t care for the team, but for the person first.

It must be hard for their die-hard fans to get along with that.

Tebow...can't win consistently with him, can't demote him without starting a riot.

I'm glad he ain't our problem.

PS - I honestly believe if somehow Denver traded for Peyton Manning in the offseason. There would still be a sizable chunk of people who would scream bloody murder if a healthy Peyton Manning started over Tebow.

Without Tebow, that was a 2-3 win team. With Tebow, that was a team that made the playoffs and got to the divisional round.

Better that "problem" than the problem the Jets had this year.

They should be talking about Teblow ... not Tebow.
