The line parted for him. They ignored him and took a downfield player. It's great for the Patriots, but that was a blown assignment by the Denver.

It looked like a designed play. The OLB rolled up on the line and had the pitch man already locked up from the look of it, Warren was the read man and that was schemed to force the keep and blow it up. Hell of a drawup.

The big downside to the option is that it's most definitely not made for coming from behind. Denver is just burning off so much time off the clock making incremental gains.
