Moss would help us this week

I am saying if they had either A) got him on the team before the season (it was reported they offered him a deal) or B) were able to get him out of retirement.

Come on man.

I was going to ask you what you saw in Moss before he was released by the Pats in during the 2010 season that would make you think it would be good to have him back in 2012. But then I just realized that I want this thread to go away so I'm just stopp.........................

Wait a minute..... Moss is gone? When? And more importantly, WHY WASN"T I INFORMED OF THIS !!!!! Im calling Junior right now d%#*!@t !

How can you really consider him when hasn't really put up the numbers this year?

Anyone else notice how freakin' big Damien Woody looks when doing ESPN analysis? What does that have to do with this thread? He's not coming back either!

OK....I know some of you have had enough of the Moss talk. But check this out.

Moss would help this team big time this week. How? Champ Bailey. He takes Bailey out of the game. You do not even have to throw the ball to Moss, just have him run down the field all day and take Champ away from the rest of the action. It would open things up more for the TE's for Wes and Branch.

You have to admit, I am making a great point here.

You can dio that with anyone. If a WR runs a go route, the corner covers him. They don't let receivers who arent Moss run free down the field for a Td

Jeez, we are in the playoffs, the Pats had the best record in the AFC, Brady threw for more yards than Marino's nearly 20 year old record, Gronkowski breaks both the TD record and yardage record for a TE, Welker receives more yards in Patriots history and has the single game record for a Patriot, and the Pats averaged about 32 points per game. Yet, we are still having "We could use Moss" threads?:bricks:

The Pats don't need Moss this weekend because they have Gronk and Hernandez. The Broncos had no answer for Hernandez last time with Brian Dawkins playing. How are they going to stop him this time.

Bailey is still a good CB, but he is no longer elite or all that special. The Pats don't need a decoy to keep him occupied.

Right...but Bailey is their best cover guy and he would cover Moss down the field because he is the biggest deep threat. If they had Tate still they could run him down the field on every play but he would not be covered by Bailey. That is the point.

I remember watching Moss with the Vikings last year and boy he couldn't run anymore..

Who cares? This is Champ Bailey 2012, not Champ Bailey 2006. The Broncos do not have a good pass defense. In terms of opposing QBs' passer ratings, they had the 28th ranked defense.

I never bash anyone on this board and there are some crazy posts from time to time even from myself, but you are getting way out of hand. I mean just stupid posts. Everyone knows we need a deep threat but to bring up moss of all people like there haven't been a gazillion threads on this a day before the playoffs. Really.

And what's sad is this isn't even the dumbest thread. The pepsi one takes the cake. You seriously wanted to boycott pepsi because the jets were in a commercial. WOOOOOOw. A fn commerical that had no real substance.

I often see #81 tearing it up on the field for the Pats. Does that make you feel better? Maybe Bailey will think that is still Moss and will follow him around all day.

P.S. How's the Pepsi boycott going?

why isn't this thread in the practice squad yet?

Really, there ought to be a rule that anyone that starts a thread to discuss bringing Moss back gets the thread banished to the practice squad, and thread starting privileges revoked for a week.

No I don't, You are making up scenarios that don't and won't exist. And what makes you think Champ would be covering a washed up receiver that has not played a game since last December?

I knew another ****** would bring up this dreck before the playoff game

Get a life....

They can run whoever Bailey is covering deep, whether its Welker,Branch, 85, Edelman, or Underwood or whoever. IT accomplishes exactly the same thing.

We don't need Moss. Taylor Price has this.

Don't you, Taylor....

Taylor?

Price is in Jax now.

Maybe Chad can have a decent game, that would be a nice surprise.
