Could the Denver game be flexed to Sunday night

I honestly don't think flexing Pats-Denver to night was such an "obvious" choice. I mean, Ravens-Chargers ain't exactly Colts vs. Jaguars. The Ravens are a playoff team and the Chargers still have life.

I think if the Chargers lose to Jacksonville and slip to 4-8 and seven lost in a row, this decision goes the other way.

You're probably right.

From a ratings perspective it is pretty obvious. Sure, a diehard football fan will watch either one, but the casual fan is way more likely to tune into Denver-NE.

Denver games are now shown in Florida whenever possible, and the local ratings are higher than Dolphins games, even now that the Dolphins are playing well. Of course he played in Florida, but there seems to be similar curiousity nationwide.

Plus the Patriots are a bigger draw nationally, from a star point of view and frankly from a "I want to see them lose" point of view, than are the Ravens and Chargers.

While you have a good point, I don't see the positive of making 4 teams change their schedule on Christmas week either. Especially with a game that should not be looked at as 'bad' in SD/BAL. Technically 2 playoff contenders.

this game is not being flexed

That would be cool.

I'M GOING TO THIS GAME AND IT'S MY FIRST PATS GAME EVER!!!!!!

Unfortunately in the upper bowl corner end zone, but I'm just a student from Canada and couldn't be happier.
