How about the whiners not be "right prats" and not say anything after a loss? I'd take that exchange.
That's NOT going to happen and I admit I still have my reservations about the Pats, but for tonight, let's all enjoy it rather than **** stirring each other for whatever position we hold on the Patriots.

Hell, we just flogged the Jets in their house. Flogged.

seriously, I would love it if someone would go through (threads this past week) and find all the posters who predicted the Pats would lose big tonight and call them out

I'll co-sign on that. Didn't get why everyone was so terrified of the Jets.

Exactly. The Pats still have some critical issues, and I think a better QB would have exploited this secondary more, but at the same time, this defense is so injured that it's almost comical. Even despite that, they went into the top division rival's house and thrashed them to take a pretty commanding division lead.

I know that some people will use this win as a blanket tool to avoid actual discussion of real problems, but if it also shuts up the crazies who think that Belichick should be fired, then I'll take that trade any day.

We won't see a better QB until we get to the playoffs (No, Mike Vick and Fitzy are not better than Sanchez, at least they don't scare me as much). Hopefully we have some guys back by the POs.

Pats DBs are bad, but Sanchez is worse. A lot worse.

it was a good win.. and people stepped up. maybee getting rid of haynsworth who was a cancer , was a key... but still would like to see the pats use ocho more.. i also dont agree with that bogus gronk td... that the penalty did not give them a first down...

You didn't endure it

You cried and went home

Remember, you even made a thread because you're so important your presence wouldn't have gone unnoticed.
I didnt go anywhere, I just chose not to read the overreacting ignorant attitude that enveloped the board.
I didnt abandon the Patriots for a week, I abandon the idiots who had abandoned the Patriots, for a week.

There's no need to rub it in to the chicken little's Andy. There is something called graciousness. Prove you're better than the Patriots haters and just enjoy the win for what it was, a brilliant all round team performance where the O, the D and the ST finally clicked on the same night.

I couldn't be prouder of the way these guys went about it.

Yeah Andy

aus has a great point about being gracious and not calling out.......

Oh wait, screw that.

Where are the brain dead village idiots tonight?

Is the Douche Awry on suicide watch yet? How about the idiot in Philly?

I dont understand that call, because I believe that touching after going out of bounds is a penalty and you cannot assess a penalty on review. And we went from 3rd and 11 to 3rd and 16.
I buy the waiving off of the penalty, even if it was a very, very close call.

By the time that was completed next April's draft would be history and another annual bltchfest would be well under way.

Well done, Andy. You kept the faith and willed the Pats to victory.

Please stick your fingers in your ears and hum a tune every week and we might win out. :rocker:

I shouldnt have been the contrarian, but the fan base is embarrassing. (they will probably turn arrogant this week though)

I don't live in the New England area:

Is this forum an accurate sample of the entire NEP fan base?

After enduring the doom and gloom overreaction, you feel being a 'right prat' whatever that is, is to just say nothing? No, I dont think so.

I guess you won't run away and hide this week like a coward afraid to face negativity like last week in here,eh Andy?

Unfortunately increasingly it is. Since 2007, the year of entitlement... Nothing short of perfection has been acceptable since.

I didnt run away and hide anywhere pal. I was as involved in the Patriots as ever. I just chose not to read the cyber diarhhea that inevitbaly showed up on this board.

By the way, please feel free to identify any negativity that I ''cowardly was afraid to face" when i returned today.
I think you owe me an apology for this post, if you have the balls to do so.

You ran away Andy, the rest of us stuck around and debated Patriots issues for the week. Thankfully, the Patriots won this week, which was more enjoyable than the previous 2 games.

Now you're parading about embellishing because the Patriots won vindicating your belief in the team. Others believed and they stuck around others didn't believe and they stuck around. It makes no difference as long as everyone is pulling for the Patriots.
