Once again. That is on BB.

If he had a DC, that guy clearly would have input on the unit and any good DC would not have those guys on the unit.

And Crable? He sucks. He is in the damn UFL for christ sakes. Awful. Would be the worst player on this defense and that is saying something.

He's saying the PICKS should be contributors. Not the PLAYERS.

I.e. 2nd and 3rd round draft picks within the last four years should still be contributors on this team.

I think we are looking at 13-3 or 12-4 with at best the second seed if Pittsburgh wins the division. Long way to go, and Pitts deserved to win. However, its obvious the Pats have way more respect for the Steelers than Jets..Good game! Rematch in the AFC title game?

The one good thing is that there is definitely a trend this year of horrendous play by teams coming out of a bye. We can hope that was the reason for the Pats' bad play today.

I'd also say that the book is out on how to beat this offense and the cowboys and steelers have it. The Pats'offense hasn't looked"high powered" in a couple Weeks now

The refs have been awful all game. Not saying the Patriots didn't deserve to get blown out, but bad spots, bad calls, bad on Gronk catch, bad on Faulk's catch right after Gronk, bad watching the time wind down after the whistle is blown, bad on the safety call.

Nt to mention Revis rules for all the Steeler Dbacks. However it wouldn't have helped the Pats since they were never close enough to hold any Steeler receiver.

Its 1 game , look at steelers game 1 people declared the steelers are done.Look at the Jags game last week. this is the NFL and steelers are a good team.

btw 6-1 against a good team is a crazy stat .Now we are 6-2 even that is a a huge stat.

so teams coming off the bye where 3-7 and we made it 3-8 lol.......

Coaching Decisions

I'm sure there will be enough threads made already about the abysmal defence and the ineptitude of the offence, but I just have to really wonder what's going through BB's head lately.

It starts with cutting Bodden and IRing Dowling (with reports saying he could've been back in under 6 weeks). With our DB's as bad as they are, whatever the problem with Bodden was, it shouldn't have been enough to do that and handicap a secondary that was steadily improving.

With that in mind, I understand we were forced to blitz a lot this game to try and cover up for the defeciency. But WHY did we keep seeing the delayed blitz on third and long??? (The one where Sergio Brown blitzed from 15 yards out 3 seconds after the snap comes to mind the most, on 3rd and 18). There was no pressure on the QB, and the coverage was done for.

The non challenge on the Gronkowski TD was also a headscratcher, which killed a lot of valuable time and almost put us out of it then.

Then there's the onside kick thing, with 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning which I can understand to a degree but disagree with.

Lastly, on the 3rd down run, I don't understand why Bill didn't challenge the spot. This would have stopped the clock and had the same effect as calling the timeout. Even though the play probably would've stood, it wouldn't have hurt.

All in all just a bad game overall by the whole team. The defence couldn't deal with the bunches and stacks, and the offence couldn't get anything deep. Give the Steelers credit. Even then we still had a shot to pull this one out, which is at least a good sign.
