I'm torn......help

Goal one: Win the division. GO Chargers.

Exactly. Focus on the division first. Yet another loss in jersey would seriously F up the green beans attitude and confidence. Losing 4 out of the last 5, below .500 again, only beating the winless dolphins in that stretch.

If they fail again on Sunday, watch the wheels start falling off down in the land of Springsteen, corruption, and pollution. Way too much me first ego on that team. Once that is in place hopefully the Pats can be the one to drive the last nail into the coffin of the Wrecked jests in a few weeks.

Don't have to think twice on this one. Root against NYJ always. Makes it easier too when the "classy" one moved to the jets. "lights out" is also not on the team, so this is a super easy decision.

I'm not torn at all. There are two games I will be rooting for the Chargers this year (thought it would be only one) - against the Jets and against the Bills. Otherwise, I hope they lose every game this season the rest of the way. I still want to make sure the Pats win the division first. If the Jets lose tomorrow, they are almost definitely out of the division race. I don't see the Pats losing three more games in the conference the rest of the way and I doubt the Jets will go 9-0 the rest of the way.

If its a team in your division and that team has not been ruled out of winning the division, you ALWAYS root for the team they are playing.

As Belichick always says...the 1ST goal is to win the division

The only time it's acceptable to root for the Jets is when their win clinches the Pats a playoff spot and does nothing for them. Period.

Last time I rooted for the Jets was in 2008 on the last week when that Motherfu(king Brett Favre as Jets QB decided he was not going to try and win the game for the Jets,So the Dolphins go on and win the division and the Jets AND Pats went home.

Ken, we love ya, but this is a ridiculous question. You root for the Chargers. (Then you root for Rivers to jump up in celebration, only to land "funny" on his knee.)

Who does one root for tomorrow when the Jets host the Chargers.

Of course every fiber of my being desperately wants to see the Charger CRUSH the Jets in front of the rotten vermin who follow them (and I mean that in the most respectful way) The humiliation of Rex in front the hometown crowd AND media, would just be too sweet.

HOWEVER - It looks like we are going to be battling the Chargers and Ravens all the way to the end of the season for just TWO playoff byes. In THAT respect a conference loss wouldn't hurt our cause. Aren't the Chargers REALLY more of a threat than the Jets, and wouldn't it be much better to play them HERE in January.

Help me out here guys. What are my priorities.... OR just I just go for a long walk at 1pm.

Shirley you can't be serious.

Don't call me Shirley - YouTube

The Chargers kinda scare me. The Jets don't

1st RULE: You do not talk about Jet's winning.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT think about Jet's Winning.

3rd RULE: If someone says "maybe" or goes limp, taps out their being in the discussion is over.

4th RULE: Only Patriots fans to a Jets discussion.

5th RULE: One Jets discussion at a time.

6th RULE: No green clothing, no green food or drink.

7th RULE: Jet's discussions will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first Jet's discussion, you HAVE to post your disdain of the Jets.

On a personal note nothing IMO supercedes the hope of a jet's implosion this year. That has maximum entertainment value to many Patriots fans. It really does not matter who gets in the playoffs besides us - the Jet's must lose all possible games ... the football gods demand it as fitting and just punishment for their disrespecting of the game the last few seasons.

Actually I think it's in our best interest that the Colts start winning games now. We don't want their pick to be #1 plus Manning's potential return next year.
The Colts won't have a winning season for the next 5 years, Manning or not.

Unless we need the Jets to win for our own sake (ie. to get in the playoffs, to get home field advantage, etc.) at that immediate time (not down the road and forecasting, like you're implying)... we always, always root for the Jets to not just lose, but get destroyed.

Here I supplied you with one of these since yours in broken:

Ooops

My bad.

Is this a serious question? GO SD!

I am so hoping that when the Pats go down to "the Meadowlands," it's to hand out another 45-3 style beatdown.

You really don't have to go to many posts in to find the true answer.

Ken, don't waste any brainpower on this decision -- this one isn't about logic. When the games comes on the tv, you WILL find yourself rooting against the Jets with every fiber of your being, no matter what rational decision you reached beforehand. Just roll with it.

If you are a true Patriot fan........ your heart will correctly dictate your decision the second you see that f&%king putrid Green & White uniform, regardless of logic and rational thought.

as long as the putrid Rats are the NFL's version of the Chicago Cubs, I'm more than happy....let's toast to ANOTHER 42 years of complete futility, embarrassment, broken dreams and broken promises....OG JTSE!!!!!
