Ugh...if they lose this one I can see all the mediots calling them the Eagles of the AFC.

Yeah, because in your world 3-2 equals 1-4.

The geniuses that post here.

Who ever said that these mistakes will eventually make Hernandez expendable is spot on I think. They can't pay both te s and they will choose Gronk over Hernandez

Yeah, because second year players don't make mistakes... Sure, he should have caught this ball, but to deem him expendable for that? That's ludicrous...

You can leave with this attitude. C'mon man, really? Its still a game, and we are up! We get the ball after the half.

I've seen enough to know that the Pats are the same old team against the Jets. The offense is sputtering and showing signs of life every now and then but still we miss our golden opportunities. The Jets will heat up on offense in some way, and the Pats offense will start trying to throw more and more, forcing the ball. I hope I'm wrong, but this feels like another one of those games where Rexy gets the better of us when we should win it.

Pats have shown they very rarely win games with a negative turnover ratio, so they better get a pick or a fumble or its going to be Sanchize walking off Gillette a victor AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Now it's all about what team makes better adjustments...hope it's the pats

Jets have all the momentum going into half.....this blows...Should have kept hernandez out..he always makes those

Agreed....but hernandez has been known to get the dropsies in traffic. That one hurts bad....Pats continue to shoot themselves in the foot when it matters most. I think at some point, BB has to be thinking more conservatively AND AT LEAST make sure the pats go into the half with an extra 3 there. I know that hernandez should have had that but throws over the middle in crunch.time can go wrong real quick. Now you give fat Rex back the momentum. Going to be a long second half. If the jets can keep bringing the house on O, and keep running the ball at will...it is going to be tough to beat them..

How come in the last few years we always lose the first game to the jets?

More accurately: split the series. Last three years (W-L in 2008, L-W in 2009 and 2010).

This is a slugfest- just the way the Jets want it.

I just think we're playing so tentatively- we're not playing decisively, not sticking to something that puts us into an offensive rhythm.

That was the slowest 2 minute drill I have ever seen. Usually we're moving down the field pretty fast. It should have been no-huddle, hurry up, but there was a lot of indecisiveness by Brady in calling the protection prior to every snap. That hurts the rhythm and cadence.

As good as he is, his ball protection has always been suspect.

Maybe we should worry about that in three years or whenever their contracts are up.

Some of you guys are the most weak minded fans ever. WTF man we're winning getting the ball back after a offense plagued with penalties. If they get the mental mistakes out of the way we win this game.

Brief Half time comments

Boy, you can't help but remember Alge's drop last year when you see the one Hernandez dropped. Worse, this drop turns into a pick and we lose the 3 points.

Still it was a horrible half for the Pats, yet they still are ahead, AND get the ball to start the 2nd half. They HAVE to get some point on this drive.

It will be interesting to see if the Dante and the OL can fix what is ailing them. ALL the sacks have been coverage sacks but STILL

We are running the ball well

We are not playing from behind like last season.

Brady is going to have to hit one of those deep throws this game.

The defense is going to have to do better against the run, and I'd like to see us do SOMETHING that isn't plain vanilla. Have we suddenly morphed into the Jags the last few weeks.

Hopefully the O will fix things, and BB has saved his "wrinkles" on D for the 2nd half.

Does getting beat at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball bother anybody except me?

Ok yeah that sucks but all I was saying is that this game is far from over. They can certainly rebound my friend.

Aaron Schatz, football insider, puts out a stat that says that goes something like if you throw an interception your chance of loosing increases by 27%..

But right now it is too early to tell, this game reminds me of a heavyweight fight..
