I watch this defense play and I think "this defense is awful". But then, when the game is over, I look back to it, and compare it to other teams and it's not that bad, it's average. Thats what the NFL has become.

Exactly! There are no super defenses or TEAMS this year. I'm honestly happy this team has something to work on.In 2007, my biggest concern was that they were great EARLY and sort of faded in the end. However, since they are the patriots everything is magnified even though there are other defenses that have been crappy too!
No, it was on Sergio Brown who was supposed to be helping with over the top coverage and didn't get there in time. The guy is horrible. He shows little to no instincts at all. He is a horrible tackler. And he's always late. The only place he seems to be any decent is on Special Teams.
I hated seeing Guyton back on the field. The Pats defense was doing well when they have Ninkovich, Fletcher and White out there. Guyton get's tossed back in and they give up a TD because of his lazy ARSE!!!
