Branch, even at his age, still has the ability to find holes in coverage.

Floyd and Phillips both hurt for the Chargers? That could be huge.
Branch is one of the best recievers in the NFL.
Why is it the doomsayers never give credit to the competition. Philip Rivers is an MVP caliber QB and he has some of the tallest WRs in the league.
Great ones don't always make that one. Revis might. But most don't.
It would be interesting if there were a bigger "penalty" for injuries than the injured player having to sit out at least one play—e.g., having to sit out until the next first down or even the next change of possession.
Only with the Patriots, of course!
It was a great drive, no question. But with a small sample size, the defense does look like it has some issues. Hopefully it will improve. If your defenders arent tall enuf you need to make the qb make quicker decisions.
