Another straw man argument. Fact is, the Chargers gave the Pats the ball 4 times, handed it to them! That should have predicated the outcome, and yet the Chargers lost because of that missed field goal. That's a testament to the Chargers' defense.

Fans go to every team board to talk smack. It has nothing to do with the attitude of the Patriots fans, and everything to do with the personalities of the trolls.

Now i'm using it to look at this game, which is all that matters, since it looks like neither of us won the Super Bowl last year, and both still can this year. Deus makes a good point, but the only player that is historically better is Brady over Rivers, but thats like saying my Ferrari isworth more than your jaguar. There are other factors like revivers, blockers, backs, and the D. I'm sure that Brady will be better this week and i'm sure that the Pats are better on both sides of the ball. As are we.
Seperately, is it at all worrisome that the bolts pass D held Mcnab to under 40 yards? I know that (sticking with my cars) Mcnab is a 2001 toyota Camry, but the bolts pass D was #1 last year and held Brady to 159 yards. They are seeming to pick up exactly where they left off. I for one am a bit worried that they loose that rep after this game. But I'm just curious about your thoughts. Even if you think Brady will torch them, tell me if you think they should beat all feared.

Let me answer the McNabb part first:

No. McNabb looks done, and he looked fork tender last year. It was his first game with a new team, and that makes it even worse.

Now, to the general post:

I like the Chargers talent. I have them as a top playoff contender, but I also have them as a team that could go into the hopper. We just don't know what we'll get with that team, and they've got a pretty tough schedule this season.

However, the only team in the NFL that I genuinely 'fear' as a Patriots fan is the Ravens, because they're are hard hitting team that plays dirty and would be more than happy to cheap shot an opponent in order to knock him out of the game.

It's tough to blame the fans for being upbeat. They should be noting, though, that there was a record 12 QBs that threw for 300+ this past week, and Brady set the MNF record with his 500+. For whatever reason(s), offenses were dominating defenses in a lot of games.

Let's see, Tom Brady:
- Is a 2-time NFL MVP, including being the first unanimous MVP in NFL history
- Is a 2-time Super Bowl MVP
- Holds the NFL record for most TD passes in a season, and numerous other NFL records
- Is a 6-time Pro-Bowler
- Is a 2-time first team All-Pro

If he's such a "system quarterback", why doesn't every team play this system?

Go do something constructive at home. Come back to us when you learn how to make sense while typing, how to adequately address what you're purportedly responding to, and the difference between someone talking in their own group and someone busting into the group and demanding equality of access. Second, I never once predicted an outcome for the game.
