I just realized, no matter who the team brings in to punt, it can't be Ken Walter.

I'm optimistic.

You and me both buddy. If the new guy is decent directionally with solid height, he'll be better than Kenny. And both these guys seem to have solid legs. If we're gonna get a shank I'd prefer it to be from a young leg that has upside than Kenny's leg.

Our next punter needs to be put on Viagra ... we need a guy with a good stiff leg....stronger than Walter's limp leg.

We have two punters now.....interesting.......Who will it be

As Malone was just signed yesterday I would think that Baugher has the edge. But they were ranked about the same coming out of college so I imagine it'll come down to who looks better this week. Not sure if Baugher is a holder but Malone is.

I hope one of the rookies proves to be the answer. I think Bauhger is too small to be a Punter, but who knows?

I had a similar thought. Miller was one of the league's best punters - when he was hurt there was a big drop-off to Ken Walter (or whoever else was available at that time of year). But now that we are looking for Walter's replacement instead of Miller's, there is not likely to be that much of a drop-off.

Drop-off? Have you checked Walters statistics against the league?

I don't think anybody would expect to get a job averaging under 40 yds consistently.

I'm betting that Gostkowski is doing a lot of kicking with each of those guys holding. Assuming each can kick decently, the beter holder may get the job.

Asante can punt!
