I thought it was a pretty decent commercial, up until that end.

The trouble is, it is supposed to market to men. It is UGGs for men after all.

Maybe the target age group they are after is closer to 14-18. Perhaps it is more appealing to those young whippersnappers.

I have no way of knowing whether this ad is good, bad or indifferent.

Whenever an ad has music that I've never heard before that sounds like I'm "supposed" to have heard it before, I kind of assume that I'm not part of the ad's target demographic group.

Just another thing that sucks about getting older. You have to accept that the media are targeting an audience a lot younger than you.

I have a pair of men's UGGs of Australia, Made in China. They are very comfortable and fit business casual a little better than other dress shoes.

They are not anything close to water proof. Living out here where it rains for months at a time make them impractical for some weather.

I don't think there's a gender difference in assessing the ad.

It's a taste difference.

It just looked like an ad to me. I mean, much better than that gross Manning Oreo commercial. Perhaps my standards are low.

I think he's an utter douche now but the coolest athlete commercial I ever saw was an American Express Tiger Woods ad where is walking around Manhattan shooting golf balls and Moby;s "Find My Baby" is playing in the background. It looked a lot cooler than it sounds typing it out. Just a great ad.

Actually, I think my favorite commercial ever is the Red Sox Nike ad during that Wolrd Series run in 2004. Followed closely by the Budweiser ad they played during our 2002 Superbowl....after 9/11.

I agree. Whoever directed the shoot and/or edited the footage isn't ready for prime time. Plus I think they are getting their demographics muddled...unless the target audience is european wannabe gangstas...

That said, I'd buy anything he was selling...

I think this brings us to a classic -FLIGHT OF THE CONCORDS- Piece to say it best

I said, TOM, you got it going on.

Not in a gay way, just in a "hey mate, I wanted to say that you're looking okay, mate." Why can't a heterosexual guy, Tell a heterosexual guy that he thinks his booty is fly.

Not all the time, obviously, just when he's got a problem with his self esteem.

I hope that doesn't make you feel uncomfortable.
