Butler never regressed because he was clueless from Day 1.

He was decent to good in his rookie year....after that he just sucked.

With Meriweather, Tate, Butler and Sanders gone the villagers will now primarily set their sights on Brace, Spikes, Cunningham, Koppen and Ochocinco, although every CB not named McCourty and every receiver not named Welker are likely targets as well.

Brace has been useless for the most part. At least we got Chung, Vollmer, and Edelman who all can play from the 09 draft. Vollmer's a legit star, Chung is solid, and Edelman is a diamond in the rough. Otherwise most of the other guys are useless.

Well, Carolina got a starting corner. Not saying much. Glue together a couple of old broomsticks and dirty mop, and it would make the secondary roster on the Panthers. They don't even have backups listed at CB on their NFL.com depth chart. I wonder if they'll draft Luck?

Are you kidding? Welker has already been the target of trade talks this offseason by the fanbase. Where have you been?

As for Butler. Well considering that Sanders and Meriweather had just been cut, you knew no job was safe. Butler just never progressed from his rookie season. I think he has physical skills, but he just doesn't have the mental makeup or whatever to excel in the Pats offense. Maybe this tells us that there are other guys BB think will step up. Who will they be?

Do you know the life span of the average running back in the NFL?

BJGE is the little engine that could, but he's no great talent.

Woodhead is nice, but what's the over/under on the touches he has before he's done?

Taylor, Morris, and Faulk were very near or at the end - at the end of last year. What were we supposed to do with the crummy FA RB market and a lot of picks - sign Moe, Larry, and Curly as replacements.
