cmon...they ran it up into the line...straight vanilla...with Ohrberger in first snap...BB is using these situations to evaluate...

Boy, these Lions look good. Punched us right in the mouth.

It will be interesting watching them this year.

NFC North is looking like a hell of a tough division. Packers, Lions, Bears made the NFC Championship last year...even the Vikings have some players on their roster.

How 'bout before the 15?

At this point, I say if you catch the ball at any point inside the end zone, take a knee. I think a lot of teams will start inside the 15 when they return.

I'm not going to get too upset with the Pats playing a vanilla 3-4 with their fourth DE, third string ILB, and other backnups, but I am disappointed with the lack of fire.

This. Patriots aren't playing this game to win anything.

Somebody put a goddamn hurting on Stafford!

definitely going to be an unintended consequence for the NFL with so many touchbacks...scoring will be down this year. teams just dont go 80 yards for TDs that often

What is this...detroits Super Bowl? They are playing like a bunch of thugs out there and like their lives are on the line here...

Hey, we've scored 3 unanswered points

Good tackle by Carter on that play.

I'd like to see a good defensive series here, to keep the good feelings from last week going.

connolly ankle,not knee....TG

Good game for the Pats, in terms of understanding the major weakness of this team - the O-line. Good to see it so glaringly obvious in the preseason rather than the postseason. The line cannot even protect the QB long enough for the receivers to get where they are supposed to be. Fingers crossed Cannon solves this problem but hats off to the Lions, I like their game.

The kickoff rule's should change before the regular season starts...

CBS is going to show Vanden Bosch's head rather than a reply of the penalty?

WTF?
