Yup - he clearly did something to lose the trust of Brady and Belichick last season though - beyond just a simple loss of skills...

But he's certainly not evil - just doesn't strike me as someone who thinks things through well enough before acting. When his skills are at a 2007 level that's acceptable - in 2010 numbers they're not, and I tend to think Randy had a tough time accepting that reality.

In the short time that I have seen Heath Evans on the air -- He shows great promise. He played for the Pats and the Saints -- he has insight and the ability to succeed as a broadcaster. Good luck to him.

I never thought Randy was a bad person. I did think that he was more self centered than most. I didn't think he was the type of person Heath described. I'm glad that he is and I'm glad that it was brought out.

I also thought that his press conference melt down last year after the Cincy win was more out of insecurity. I think that he loved it here and sensed that he was in danger of not being here long term.

The WEEI audio cut off Dennis & Callahan's snickering after Heath Evans hung up where they asked each other which of Heath's assertion was the "bigger lie", that Moss was a great teammate or that Belichick was very funny.

Here's another example of that perception, from just a few hours ago, going outside the world of sports.

Basically people outside New England incorrectly assume that what they see in a post-game press conference is the total summation of Belichick's personality.

Fat Boy Dennis and KKKallahole have a common thread problem with their contention - namely, they're never funny, despite pathetic attemts to be so, and they both lie constantly. As far as being great teammates or not, I can't help you with that one.

BB really is a great coach, the ability to be demanding and serious, but still sprinkle in enough humor to keep players happy. However, the two games he will have no humor in this year are against the Jets. He will try to run the score up!
