Mallett does look good, but I still guess I don't really understand what he's doing here. I mean, I think it's a good gig for him, but what's the end game for the Patriots?

You develop, train and pay a guy for a year just to move up 20 or 30 spots in the draft the next year? I mean, if he fetches a 1, then it was great. But picking a guy at 74 and then getting, say, pick 45 or 50 a year later because he's signed as an RFA. Is it really worth the investment?

should i adjust my sarcasm detector again?

Wow do you guys see how far back both Wilhite and Butler are backing off on each play?

This Murphy kid is lighting it up for the Jags. Apparently he used to be in the same backfield with Ridley.

Is it safe to say that BB might have hit a home run in this year's draft?

I wouldn't say so just yet. It's still way to early. The thing we have to remember is that the same way it's ridiculous to get too low when the team for performing poorly so early on, it's almost equally as ridiculous to get too high when the team performs well this early on. Let's see a few more preseason games before we get overly excited about the young crop. They've definitely played well tonight, but new guys can be very up-and-down.

Mallet delivers a prefect strike to Ridley who scores his 3rd TD of the game!!! Oh yeaaaah!

It could be time to add another pic to that signature of yours...

Ridley reminds me of Lesean Mccoy, not Jerome abettis, I was lied to.

Ill take it though.

The way butler is playing tonight, doubt it.

Cut them both.

After Arrington, the Pats have crap for CBs. Dowling excluded.

And so commences The Legend Of Stevan Ridley . . .

As well as the very premature "let's trade BJGE" threads . . .

Wait til you get a load of Vereen!

This team is L-O-A-D-E-D.

So after their top 4 cb's the cb's aren't very good? I'll take that.

Darryl Richard fighting through the muck and mire and making that sack! Looks like he wants a job!

They invented the 15 yard cushion.

I'm glad Ridley has done well. I almost felt sorry for the guy with all the negative remarks regarding him being taken in the 3rd round. It's a good start for him and I'd love to see him a lot more.

I'm really losing all hope for Darius Butler. I've seen enough to begin to feel fairly confident in saying that it's just not clicking for him right now, and I doubt it ever will. I just don't get what his issue is . . . he just can't make the play when it's in front of him.
