the poor lost, delusional soul has done more to hurt the relationship between pats fans/forums than to help. He makes the same argument multiple times in multiple threads causing the important threads/posts to get lost in the shuffle. what does that do to your Board - makes it appear to be a group of 13 Y.O. kids in a pissing match to the guest who came to the board for info not he said/she said BS. So again please do not call that going out in style.

I am new here so forgive me for being overly forward, this is a very nice place to visit, read up on my Patriots and share a laugh at some of the Jokes. I personally enjoy posting more on another Board - same name, no need to hide who I am, but also see the loyalty to this forum - a lot of good posters here, I just can't seem to understand the need for saying "he went out with a bang" when talking about getting banned from another Patriots Forum. if it was a Jets or Colt's or Fins board - I can see that (may not agree, but we all work differently) but to go onto a forum of fans of the team you allegedly follow and create a disturbance is not going out in a blaze of glory - it is being an infantile little troll searching for attention, so I ask you not to encourage such behavior.

this is a great forum and is being pushed in a direction I would assume the founding members do not enjoy - we are all guest here - act like it

Then the thread veered off onto the discussion of wide receivers, which also was not in the original thread starter. Why isnt that a hijack.

It isnt because that is the way most threads go, they start with one topic and then they expand when there are other facets added that refer back to the original topic in some way, or another.

If you want to call it a hijack, that is your perogative, but if so, there were several other hijacks in the same thread, go talk to them please, dont just pick on one poster.

I dont consider ANY of the posts in that thread to be a hijack, by me, or any of the other posters who veered off course.

And, as I said, I really dont want to continue this within the confines of this thread, which you have hijacked and made it into a personal debate. End of story.

I wasn't picking on you, just pointing out that your claim about never bringing up the OC unless he was already brought up was false. No biggie.

And while the previous poster did say something about 'watching film' his comment was obviously still a joke pertaining to the thread intent: Blue Jerseys. Your comment was most likely a joke as well, but it was a joke about the OC's playselection, not about the Jerseys. Key difference, IMO.

But, like you say, it's not a vital discussion, which is why I said I'd simply point it out and not argue the point.

we know from your perspective you aren't seeing what you are doing. But just consider that other than the obvious opposing team troll that comes here; there is no single poster who brings forth as much bitter opposition and threads that go to vitriol than you.

At a certain point you have to realize; it isn't that the rest of the world is against you - it's that you are pissing everyone else off.

You have a lot to add to the board in your better moments; but there is whole bunch of posters who have been here for a long time who lurk (like I do now) or left at least partially because you took some of the fun out of it.

In your last post; you can't even admit that you took advantage of a "jinx" thread to grind your same old axe again. Instead just defending that "repeating the mantra" is "adding to the discussion". Gee thanks. with that kind of help............

Again can add a lot to the board; just try hitting preview or something first.

But, to appeal to the masses to stop bickering is creating another thread that accomplishes nothing. Nobody is forcing any of you to read anything that NEM posts. Whether it is about our pathetic OC or about the weather, you simply do not need to read the post or reply to it. Instead, a majority of you revert to name calling, or better yet tell someone to "crawl back into the anus they came from": Digger. Several people on this board think they are the authority on the Patriots and a differing or even "idiotic" comment is followed with personal attacks and name calling. They think they know everything and should be running the team. Hey, that's great. We are all fans and entitled to our opinion. It is truly amusing as the behavior in here resembles that of a grade school. But, you all still go out of your way to single out NEM for having an infatuation with McDaniels (in my opinion, he is right). But, unless I am wrong, I have never seen him call people names like others on this site and make it personal. A person cannot even speculate on this thread about anything without getting slammed, (oh, I forgot unless it is some of you who think because you have several hundred or even thousands of posts that makes you an authority)....all that says is that you need to get a job or have nothing to do.

I do not want to make the mistake of saying something that "the authorities" deem to be stupid. I never said that "authority' was insulting. I just wanted to know who these were as you seemed to paint with a broad brush. I did say that you reference to people who have many post here as people without jobs or lives is insulting.

Maybe there are some here who at overbearing. If it happens to me, I just give it back to them and it ususally stops.

All I can say about NEM is that he has a knack for pissing people off. He does insult people and if you want to tlak about someone who treats new posters badly, try disagreeing with him as a new poster and see what you get.

Nem at the planet you choose to make a remark and at the end place the tongue in cheek comment. fine but the response was to early threads and comments you made that were not tongue in cheek. You created a lot of issues over there trying to create a riff between the boards.

you need to look in the mirror a little more often and realize some of it might be you.

rants over a stupid poll and that comment in question are why you got assclowned only to be followed with accusations a Planet Member crashing this site that got you banned.

Be a man and accept responsibility for your action, you may be surprised by the reaction you get.

not one post on any board is the all knowing, we all like to think we are but remember new fans to the sport turn to places like this to learn football not how to be what this is turning into...

I really dont want to expand this thread any more than it already has been, but seeing as you continued the attacks, maybe YOU should get your facts straight.

1: Regarding name calling. I used some real bad name calling, directly towards a poster, who angred me by callng me a bandwagon fan. I really cursed her out...and I got punished for it, justifiably so, with a 2 week ban.
And, I apoligized for it.

2: As far as me calling names to other people, only in retaliation, after I have been personally attacked and called a wide variet of things..and the names Iusuyally callpeol;e are things like dumb, ignorant, etc... and compared to the things I have been called, are quite tame.

3: As far as my banning from Kffl, you havent got a clue what the circumstances were over there, and they stem from mostly political ideology that got out of hand.... and some very harsh lies by someone over ther. That, however is irrelevant, and quite frankly, I really dont give a hoot about it because that site is really quite boring, and very clicky.

4: Regardng the ban at Patriots Planet..it all began when this site went down, and I went over there and posted a tongue in cheek post about the Planet, and even though that post was clearly identified as Tongue in Cheek, in exactly those words, and another sentence that said it was not factual...clear as day, a few of you jumped all over me, probably because it was the thing to do and jump on anything that says NEM on it, and then it got out of hand... with back and forth insults.

Was I right to say what I said in those back and forth posts, probably not...but it was never initiated by me, only by some people who took things out of context in a post that was clearly identifed as tongue incheek, and it just blew up from there.

Did I say some things, out of anger, that I probably should not have said? Yes I did but the things said directly to me were far , far worse....and the streetcar, apparently only went in one direction.

So, if you want to be critical, get ALL of your facts straight because there always is another side to the story, and in most cases, the truth is somewhere in between.
